Little off topic, but, I have seen people refer to keeping older versions of a track installed so that different vmods are usable. These people who vote for keeping several versions of same track, claim that it will not cause problems. Seems to me it does cause problems. Any opinions?
I realised that I had v0.51 in my Packages folder (as well as v0.78) but it won`t let me uninstall it as I get a message saying it`s needed for a mod...
Some tracks have problems with older versions, others don't so it is probably a problem with packaging.
tjc, make a vMod to point to the new version. Or download one from a server running the track, that should let you play the new version. my new version of my 60s Mirror vMod now has the new Toban give that shot. I did bump into this myself, using 'All Tracks and Cars' seems to load the old versions of tracks instead of the new. Thanks for the update, Happy New Year.
Ok... never made a vMod yet so will try the download or your new vMod. Cheers DJC and Happy New Year to you and yours too mate.
Try to delete the cbash (TOBAN_LONG.cbash) and rrshd (TOBAN_LONG.rrshd)-files for Toban (rFactor2DataFolder\UserData\Log\CBash). Maybe the old ones don't work with the new track. Happy new year
The double line separating pit lane from track seems to have wrong texture (with fragments of perpendicular lines on it). View attachment 5440
Hi guys, @tjc. Try to do this: 1-unnistall all versions instaled 2-go to rfactor2/userdata/log/cbash and eliminate all files of toban 3-install current version and cross your fingers, The reverse version long will be added in futures updates. I'm not at home tomorrow when i get back i read in case there is a problem. Thanks for the coments. I've noticed in some pictures there is a lot more brightness than expected i will look for the reason. Happy new year all of you. Enviado desde mi GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk 2

I got same message, even when there is no mod using that track in my installation, so I simply located the Toban folder, deleted it and problem solved: next time I ran mod manager, Toban was not listed; now it is, but with newest version byyyyyyyyyyye
Vicent just to let you know a litle bug I found with transparent trainer. Because there is one diretory for every layout of the track, when runing the long layout after somme laps on the short layout, the transparent trainer continue to take the short layout untill you delete the recorded file. I guess the same is true for short and short reverse. I think you have to create one directory for each layout of the track to avoid this. Thx and a happy new year to all
Tried track yesterday and i like it but... Grass is too bumpy and pulling car from tarmac once touched. Reduce tdf amplitude a bit, please. Also on the main straight there is strange long bumps which i feel on the steering wheel. And at last, AI behaves weird sometimes in T1-T2 (spinning) and T12-T13 (little double bend after hairpin, they trying to turn too sharp). Anyway, good work, Vincent. Keep it up.
Thanks for your coments and the feedback is very helpfull, Now is like this: View attachment 5455 is this what you where saying o there is another way? Thanks for tip for the grass i'll check it. the ai needs a complete rework i hope in nexts versions try to fix this. For the bumps on the road i feel the same but for now i'm gonna leave it that way until i learn how to it better.
Yes it should work that way . I think you have to put every HDR profiles in each directory too. Thx again for what you are doing with this wonderful track
There is a problem with the settings folder. Each layout should create a unique folder inside "rFactor2DataFolder\UserData\player\Settings". Check the line "SettingsFolder = Toban Raceway" inside the gdb file. It is the same for all three layouts. That's why the settings got mixed up between the different tracks.
