Thanks for taking the time to try and help @ K Szczech.

So does my video at Brianza four or five posts ago show both problems? The gradually drawn shadow and the sudden pop up shadow?

Possible, but it's up to the car guys. Although note that we have the 2012 MR01, not the 2013 MR02. Though if we do get the MR02, it will be a nice excuse to do KERS...

I'll ask for it to be off by default.

    Updated without a problem.

I too get increased FPS with build 156. +23% on min FPS and +28% on max FPS.
My system has an average CPU and a good GPU and since the last ~10 builds this is the first time i see an improvement in FPS. Always doing the same test (everything max, 3dvision, monaco, F3, 20 AI, grid pos 21)

And i don't get crashes anymore after alt+tab or exiting rf2.

    Well done ISI!

I completely forgot that the license is for last years car actually. Since kers or similar technique are used in more than just F1, it would be nice to have anyway, as long as the guys have budget for it ;)

Image shows installer, at core destination folder selection screen, with message box on top of it: "This update cannot modify the current version".

Perhaps he tried update 146-156 on build different than 146?

Good that some people getting performance increase, I've just changed my gpu ( to a titan ) & been messing with settings so I don't have a clue how the new build compares, only tested new build on 60's spa lighting bit darker I think , but guess judgement has to be reserved until older tracks updated / re-synced to latest builds etc

Anyway performance over last few builds collectively has defo improved -even just before the titan gpu I tried spa with a few AI bt20's f1's on & it ran for the 1st time ! ( poor fps prior men't I couldn't before), running in tripple screen 3d vision

With the titan gpu on historic spa with 20 bt20's .....bliss !

Really looking forward to older content being checked over & updated where necessary

Be nice also if the devs do get the next new track (&poss car) out in next few weeks also

    Happy days

No performance increase here, maybe even worse frames now.

You can disable this by setting your PLR file variable "Gap Check" to 0.0. For track builders, I would recommend leaving it enabled. Set what you feel is an appropriate threshold, and then fix your gaps (yes I had an urge to say "mind the gap" just now).

I assume most of these gaps are unintentional, but they are problematic for RealRoad, for tire collision, for determining the current ride height, and of course sometimes you can see the actual seams. Please fix them.

I'm not getting tire squeal or scrubbing sounds with 156 in skippy or Corvette. I haven't tried all cars, but I do still get the proper tire sounds with the Lola. I can have the skippy totally sideways and not a peep from tire sounds, if im in the grass I still get the grass sounds.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Does the regional Skippy show the correct tire this time out?

Looks like night actually... the light looks totally messed in those pictures. I can get the same "improvements" changing the contrast and bright in my monitor. Wishful thinking, I'm afraid...

Didn't look as I always drive the national, but will check when I get home tonight.

I simply couldn't drive without the tire sounds...while everything else seemed to work great and smooth, without the sound feedback from the tires it just felt dead. The Vett I couldn't keep on the track without the tire feedback. Was odd to be sliding sideways off track without any tire squealing.

Not for me. Still using the semi-slicks on the regional version. I imagine this is a problem with the Skippy component more than the base build.
