Yes the choice is to either download an update to the version you have, or download a full install of the software. Usually an update works fine but sometimes the further away your original full install is to the latest update, errors creep in so a new fresh full build is needed.

    Guys...

Not read through the entire thread (most of it but I know I`ve missed a few posts) but just installed b156 a few minutes ago and when I click manage mods I`m getting an error message:

"rFactor 2 Mod Manager has stopped working" and I can`t install any mods etc...

Has anybody else come across this problem? Any solutions out there?

I did a full install as I always do. :)

I have it at D:/Program Files(x86) for a year now, no problems whatsoever.
C: is small SSD, only big for Windows and such..

    @tjc
    Hi
    I had the same problem
Solution: put in "Packages" that first mod ISI
Install, then put all the rest and there it works well.

    good game

Can't get our ORA server working with this build, a bit of help please, does it require new ports perhaps ?
I have teamviewer and remote access on it if this will help and the router port page up atm.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply Lucky...

I have a backup of my Packages folder that I just copy over to the new installs.

Do you mean I should remove the ISI mods and install them one at a time?

    1) Instal Mods ISI first
    2) after the other mods

You couldn´t before either, it just failed silently. Afterwards the status still was "installed".

I can't rotate the car in showroom all the way around 360°, just for some limited angle. Anyone else has this problem?

    Upgrade to titan from x2 670's ??

......maybe not a great upgrade if yr 670's are wkg together well,
You may lose a few fps,
Wait for another year or so

I went for the one card as I've found one card is smoother/even if the fps dies buckle it still delivers a fairly smooth experience, the titan is a beast of a card ( if yr curious then order one to test & send back if yr not happy etc )

Thank you ISI for this new build.
Happy to see that tire temp indicator is ok, new Mod Manager looks much more simple even if I don't know yet how every thing works exactly.
I've made a quick update and like many people here, I can see that lighting and contrast are much better.
Furthermore, My FPS has increased about 10 - 20 fps with all params set to maximum ! I've never seen that before with my small ATI HD 5870...
For a fist quick look, this last build looks great, however there's still a shadow car issue, only appears for a short time when you look from TV cams during replays...
@Tim : I'm very sorry for you that you've have been forced to learn French ! Not very easy, isn't it :)

I found in car showroom, if you hold down the right mouse button, and move mouse back and forward you can now zoom in and out. Not sure if we had that in last build only just noticed. Cool.
