I have changed the pit lights and start lights. They are from much nicer. The old ones were from RF1. These are from Toban. Still not happy with the main start light but it will do. I may build a brand new one that is slimmer etc. I have also added the Dunlop sign and the start animated guys in the tower. I am dreading putting these guys around the track ...there must be 30 at least Next update on the weekend and mainly working through the textures as many are still T1 place holders.
Mount Panorama, Bathurst, v0.40 released * Added trees and bushes * Re-mapped all walls and armco * Re-mapped road edges and added some white lines * Added new signs and texture maps * Lots of small details and mesh repairs etc. Next update; * More trees and bushes and grass * Start the outer terrain detailing * Add outer roads where needed
Hi everyone.... I just downloaded the amazing Dundrod track and love how the surface of the track is done. How can I get something like this done? I am not sure what the process is.....rFactor 1 had the option to show the dark race line but maybe I missed it...but is it there in RF2 as well? Would love to update my tracks to look a bit more worn and used.

Thanks for that...man that looks complex I will have to teach myself how. I wonder if there is a video tutorial?
Hello Mike, After seeing your post (and others mentioning), I have decided to write some guide regarding the new IBL/PBR road material and texture stuff. You can find the post here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-groove-map-texture-using-blender-gimp.73815/ I'll try write more when have time, hope helps. And thank you for your great work with all the track mods.
@Frederick Alonso already offered his help with pbr stuff some time ago https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/bathurst-1985.67024/page-12#post-1113935
Since AMS2 have now released the release candidate with Bathurst 83, I will try and do a side by side video this week. Meanwhile here are some comparison images....
You obviously have a more committed gardener who cuts the grass with razor like precision... Now, more seriously, the point which I find more striking is the background (blue) mountains as it adds more depth. If it's accurate or not, it would be a matter of checking.
