Hi Hexagramme, i believe, the trackmapconf1 is just a backup. A short compare results with some differents in the box layouts.
Thanks mate, I think you're right. I have installed the plugin without any problems at all. Kept the old trackmapconfig and everything is cool. No more start up crashes. Great stuff.
great delay in answering, excuse me. The trackmapconf1 is a totally different configuration of the widgets at screen (different layout and different widgets activated). To test it you must rename the "trackmapconf" or copy it into another folder and then rename the "trackmapconf1" into "trackmapconf". I hope we'll release in the future a new version with the option into the ingame menu (or an easy config tool) to allow different presets of layouts and widgets as well as a more accurate widget to calculate/record the peak cornering G for wheels. In the meantime we are still waiting for a new rF2 build that re-add the weather data into the telemetry to have the info about wetness for onpath and offpath.
The plugin can be personalized and reading the manual (also if it is a little bit obsolete) and looking at the existing widgets, it is possible to create new ones, with new and nicer graphic styles. The limitation is only into the features: new features mean new development of code.
Me again, i have no worry with 32bits, but try use 64bits, simple don't show GID. NO errors or messages of errors. Simple don't show. I need use Force 32 bits for use that plugin. I'm using version 96. Anyone imagine the problem? I try use the vcredist, and still the same. Maybe because i use the same folder for all. Don't use "Documents" folder.
Background: I use multiview, and I've put most of my widgets on the side monitors. Problem: Those widgets on the side monitors comes and goes - looks like some kind of z fighting. When I pass a car or a car passes me the widgets on the side monitors hides - next time they are shown. And note that the widgets on on center screen has no problem at all - only those on the side monitors. Everything works as expected when not using multiview. Anybody else? Missed anything?
Try hitting TAB to turn off driver labels. It's some sort of conflict between the overlay for the labels and the overlay for TrackMap. This used to happen with GID in rF1 and you could solve it by changing the Flickering Mode but I believe Max removed that setting in TM.
Game crashes everytime i enter a track...i load the track, i can enter the garage settings, and it crashes jush as i go to "race" . Any help? Thanks a lot.
Are you using the latest version of the plugin? I had a similar problem with the previous version but the new version solved it. Does it crash when you load the same track the second time?
Hello, I have a, hopefully small, problem with trackmap and/or Mas2.exe. When I go to extract the GDB and AIW files, I no longer get the "extract" option... Just the standard Win7 windows explorer "right click" options. What was happening immediately before this was that it wanted to open it with Excel 2010. I deleted that registry key. To solve it I have tried re-installing rFactor2 build 910 and trackmap .96, to no avail. Any ideas? Bryan
Thank you, I will try that and edit this post with the results. Thanks again, Bryan As promised; Success! Thanks, Bryan Second EDIT; I lied... it's still broken. I have the option of "extracting" a .mas file, but I can't double click on it and see what's in it to extract IE: the AIW and GDB files. Those are the two I need to right click on and extract into the "tracks" folder of trackmap. Maybe I'm missing something. Bryan
