    Installation

    1. Download and extract Zip file in rFactor2 root folder.
    Mirror at RaceDepartment

    2. This version comes with latest MAPS Database. Many thanks to ISR - INTERNATIONALSIMRACING.COM.
Please check periodically this LINK for newer track map database: http://www.internationalsimracing.com/forum/index.php?topic=3320.0

    3. If plugin crashes on startup, install MICROSOFT files vcredistT_x86 and vcredist_64.
    you find them in <RF2>\Plugins\TrackMap\Redistributable

    Release Notes
    1) Fixed a severe random bug that caused crash of rFactor2 on startup;
    2) added some LCDs with Light On/Off indicator,

    Special Thanks to:
Slow Motion (Marco), that have spent a lot of his time to test and discovery very hidden bugs.
I can affirm that without him, TrackmapPlugin should have been a very different thing.
    Thanks Marco!
and to ISR - INTERNATIONALSIMRACING.COM for supporting this plugin and rFactor2

    Enjoy!
    Max.

    Q1: rFactor2 is the program's root folder.
Q2: You don't have to determine where the VCRedist files go. Just double-click each executable or the file called install.cmd located in the same folder which should install both. You'll need administrator privileges to do so.

    Best of luck

I try to extract this into rfactor2 folder and it does not work, it doesn't even show up and I have to restore old files so rfactor 2 will work. Is that because it is an RAR not a zip file? Do I need to copy and paste it into folders?

    Hi Hmatty,

I used 7Zip to create this package and it should be a zip file. Please retry to unzip it in rFactor2 Folder. It should work.
    Please let me know,

    Cheers,
    Max.

Maybe you could send it to me in a Zip because everywhere I look for it to download it is an .RAR file and I cannot get it to work. If you look at your links above the are RAR.

You should be able to find WinRAR on the web at least. I always extract/install into a dummy folder on the desktop so I can see exactly what goes where. Then I will copy from there into the rF2 install.

You can extract *.rar files with 7zip, too.

Another question, in regards to keeping my trackmap layout:

I'm about to install the updated trackmap plugin, but I can see that there are 2 "trackmapconfig" files.
Do I just keep my old file called "trackmapconf" and overwrite the old "trackmapconf1" with the new one?
