Hello: It's time a new update of this awesone road course (rf1 track), so I have decided remake it. Actually, the work is "in progress" being reworked to implement rF2 new features and perhaps ...dx11? Features: - Full road mesh reworked. "Real road" - New textures and shaders - Added tree Billboards - Event North is joined to South Event through of Balea Tunnel. - Added object and terrain shadows - Removed BTB objects - Removed invisible walls "no fear, a big Challenge" - New string objects - And others. I going to showing the track progress here, It is being a huge work.
I would give my car for that track if it's propper made. There are too less of these tracks in rf2. So thank you very much and good luck

Wow! I hope you have some automation tools to assist you in this gigantic project. Do you have any concept of how long it will take you to complete it? There may be others willing to help you with the work and testing. Just ask if you want that.
Hi. I know it. The project is too long, therefore the scripting is requerired. I must render thanks to Mario Morais for his useful tools. However, for me, the most challenge is the optimization and workflow on max. I have a long experience making private rF1 tracks and car physics (rF1 and rF2) for professional race drivers trainning on simulators of 6DoF (some tracks developed: Paul Ricard HTTT 2014, 24H Le Mans and Bugatti 2015, Pole Mecanique, Dijon Prenois 2017, Paris ePrix, and others). But is time of rFactor2, my first project here. In summary, I wish to start a new way on rF2 with a lot strength and illusion, so if you let me go on I hope showing results as soon as possible.
Hi, I'm back. Current progress: - remaking main string objects, mesh, uv mapping and textures - Added 5km more. Now full track length is 41.5km - Added some waterfalls. - Retopo of main road. I go on pushing the project.
Hi, guys....Transfagarasan is in 3dmax garage! Yes,.....it will be DX11 compatible of course.....It was my motivation to do it I have been working on it ever since and there are many problems that I have seen and I have had to fix. Mainly there isn't x64 plugins. And.....the track is now +5km at South....TOTAL length: 41 km. I still am making mesh/mapping stage of terrain with new terrain shaders (multi grass / dirt shader) and getting better assets. In this moment I am pleased to say that the arrival of the dx11 will give a boost to this track,.....sun glare, dynamic expossure, terrain shadows, props, postprocesings, VR,..... I hope to post screenshoots soon.
