    Hi Tuttle,

first I have to say thank you for this great track. Amazing job.

I have some trouble with the hdr profile. The low auto exposure gives me some strange (dark) results, especially in cloudy conditions with tintops. I would recommend not to use values below 1.00 for auto exposure (MiddleGray).
What i have figured out during endless tests with hdr settings is that there is no "golden profile" that fits for all cars and situations. At least you have to separate between open wheelers and tintops.

I made some profiles for Dunsfold. Extract the zip-file to "rFactor2DataFolder\UserData\player\Settings\Dunsfold".

    There are 4 profiles:
Dunsfold_Bloom_OW.hdp: Profile for open wheeler. Bloom enabled. Low whitepoint.
Dunsfold_NoBloom_OW.hdp: Profile for open wheeler. Bloom disabled. Low whitepoint.
Dunsfold_Bloom_TT.hdp: Profile for tintops. Bloom enabled. High whitepoint.
Dunsfold_NoBloom_TT.hdp: Profile for tintops. Bloom disabled. High whitepoint.

Hi Tosch. It's not so easy, actually, to set up a good HDR, as there is not a standard working the same for each environment. I usually create the main one in the viewer. for generic ambient light, then I create changes for cockpit view in devmode. The problem is that none of the tree environment are looking the same, even using same geo location and same time of the day. The built in HDR is working fine for me for both Devmode and Viewer, but in Singleplayer I get issues too. Sometimes I'm getting dark sky with clouds, but then just re-applying the profile it start working correctly again...so for now I don't want to go nuts on this, and I thank you for your profiles. I'll take a look into it and maybe I'll release it in the update. For sure we need something better for highlights condition as I don't like how the track looks during the mid of the day...even out of the car. It's like the dynamic range is being pushed into a very limited gamma, when the sun is high on the sky. This create post-atomics overexposure in cockpit view (due the autoexposure to compensate the cockpit occlusion), and a washed out look outside the car...

If we could get the same potential as we see in the viewer, even in the cockpit and during the mid of the day...well we could get a 70% quality boost on each content...imho.

    Thanks again.

Just tried some of your profiles...

Honestly I don't like it to much (just my personal taste of course) as I'm not in love with this kind of tones. I prefer more contrasts, especially between high sky and horizon, due the ozone and this helps a bit getting more details and more distance between color levels..:)

BTW, I'll try to fix the autoexposure to avoid issues for TT.

I have the Chevy Lacetti from GTR2 with permission to convert. I was going to convert to RF1 but did not. I have all the files. The cars is perfectly modelled. So if anyone wants the files I can send them.

It would be cool to do a Lap Time Board.

    Yupp, great track, thank you.
If there was one thing to change, would be to add a few fixed tyres to that middle tyre stack. They just don't seem to last long online.

Great track, Excellent FPS with beautiful graphics.
I used to drive not exactly on track and I noticed that white line between track and grass has no grip at all.

Great version man. It has great quality and every little detail. It just needs the camera angles for replays.

    Thank you very much.

Dunsfold Park -- Top Gear Layout - Update b0.90B

    Download Update b0.90B

    Changelog:

New Top Gear Training Version added. Traffic cones are now helping to find the line. Just keep black/orange at your left side and orange/white at your right side..:)
The grass is less bumpy and with more grip to help some out of road approaches.
Fixed Tarmac to Grass edge physics. Now cutting for the bentley turn is less risky.
Fixed collision feeling for Cones impacts
Fixed HDR profile for TT cars
Light Rubbering profile added for a pre-rubbered track

    Installing procedure:

Just put the component in your package folder, open the Mod Manager and right click "update" on the Dunsfold mod (you have to see a little asterisk before the update).

Thanks to all for your help and suggestions.

Thanks for doing the update method and not the un-install and install method.

Just curious. To do a standing start timed lap, do you have to complate the first lap, then stop before the start finish line and then go? Or is the another version coming? or am I doing it wrong?

Great track by the way. So good :)

We don't have any Point to Point race in rF2 atm, so for now you've to do as you're saying. ;)
