rFactor2 Build 156 Released

My system is running smooth as butter with this build hoser, using an HD 6950 with everything maxed except 2X AA and getting 110fps.

 

Beta build 7 here as well in a 7970.

iRacing = smooth as butter

rFactor2 = King's Speach

 

HD 4870 here and the game is smooth as silk.

 

HD 7850 running very smooth

 

Have you tried dropping back to a different beta build of the AMD driver?

 

I have HD 7750 and I'm using BETA6...it's smooth.

Not that much new in BETA7 anyway?

 

HD7850 13.1 drivers = smooth

 

I have recently tried Xtreme-G 13.1 Modded drivers, downgrading from 13.2 B6, and I'm pretty happy how they perform, I definitely noticed improvements in RF2 and other games as well, pretty smooth running. I'll use them until 13.2 gets out of beta.

I was running Beta 6, which also gave me stuttering with this new build. I then had to reformat, so re-installed rF2 fresh and installed the Beta 7 drivers - - still have massive stuttering.

anyone else have cars disappearing after they get so far ahead of you now? Was racing AI on Mid Ohio yesterday in the vettes ... When the AI got so far ahead of me they just disappeared ... they were only maybe 200 yards ahead... I have all graphics settings maxed as well ... is there some hidden draw distance variable somewhere? Oh - cars that can be seen is set to 50... There were only 9 AI + myself anyways...

 

I finally got around to testing with a fresh install of 156 and it still has all the same problems of the previous builds for me.

Nvidia 680, I still have to enable HDR otherwise everything in the game is black.
HDR makes everything look completely washed out.

Lots of shimmer on objects and everything seems to be done in matt not gloss.

 

Have you deleted or renamed your data folder before?

 

Un installed and then tried to remove all references, I then installed to a different drive.

Also it just a froze for about 2secs and all the graphics went crazy.

Also the colours are not washed out in the camera views only in the main in car view.

 

Same here (no visual flat spots appearing). Tried with both the F2 and ISI Formula Masters.

 

Check your in game display settings for auto detail fps.

 

Anyone else getting "Rfactor 2 has stopped working" when trying to join online race? Sometimes I can get in after trying for 4 or 5 times but almost never works first time.

 

@Kknorpp, See if it works if you turn off Transparent Trainer. I have the same if I have it turned on.

 

im getting black stripes on the kerb lines and white lines on the track in Poznan. Havent tried with other track.
