REPLACED rF2 Build 494 Released

Dont think it has anything to do with it Noel.
If it was then it will happen all the time to all the people not just to some.
I was getting this CTDs, moved the player folder, join again wich makes a new one, everything ok. After 2 or 3 times i got it again, delete the new player folder, moved the old one, everything ok again......

For sure in the end we all will find it is a stupid letter or something similar, but its not good that such a tested build come out with this annoying things.

Didnt anyone tested it online?!?

Yes it was tested online. ISI has test servers up all the time and you can see 10 guys at a time on those servers in the evenings US time. That is why I suspect this isn't a build problem. I personally can't get the MM at all... even when deleting my profile.

 

Could someone make a thread for the new controller FFB ini feature. Or whatever it is.

same here, unstable build was stable

 

Unstable was the exact same build... compiled at the same time just a different number. Again, this is why I think it's not a build problem. 493 and 494 were fine online up until a point and then the forum started getting flooded with reports of CTDs on the MM list.

 

Not only on MM list Noel. While on server, if i change car cannot click race or else i get CTD....Both server and personal RF2 autoupdated.
I know it must be a pain in the #$% for ISI guys to come here and read 10 pages of errors but its what it is.

Also another thing i must report.
While updating all our servers (autoupdate) some launchers are now v1.102 others keep v1.100

Best thing should be unistall everything and make new instalations i suppose.

 

The launcher on v1.102 was already on the build 382

 

Right, but why they keep 1.000? Shouldnt they be updated aswell?

 

Benchmark Silverstone all maxed + HDR + shadows + 25 opponents or it didn't happen. (I'm afraid). I can't do it with 780 GTX and a 4.8 Ghz processor @ 1080p (let alone triple screen).

 

Those FPS are quite ridiculous but I still doubt it considering your crappy GPU and "all maxed" stuff. Probably you were testing alone on the track or you're simply lying.

That is the usual F2 complaint.

With which I love the feel of that car completely the opposite of most opinions.

 

hello, i want play rfactor2. yesterday all was good with new build 494.

today i get everytime when loading serverlist crash.

now i restarted computer and i can load serverlist but can not press join button

 

i am sure we will get the "time" we can not use it online (what we are paying for) refunded...

 

Light installer, completely fresh install, configuring the game, click Single Player, logo shows, then screen goes black and sits there, seemingly forever. Is MatchMaker down or is it the server list parsing issue that hits single player mode too?

Also went to the Update tab in the launcher and tried Verify, over half of the files list as "failed integrity check" or "failed verification". What is up with this?

Finally, why does the only mirror for the light installer require a password?

EDIT: Must have been a bad download, after re-download and re-install it all works as it should now, as far as Single Player goes.
