Released Latest Build Update rFactor 2 - 1.1115 Now Available!

Hi Guys,

my client(s) are reporting game lagging as a result of drivers (dis)connecting while using LiveRacers plugin, starting from this new version.

Has anything changed in regards to plugins? Changes to threading?

Try running without any plugins and see if you get the slow boot. That would always be my first step if after an update I get issues.
If it fixes it, then add one plugin at a time to see if it makes the slow start recur.
Might be worth a try.
 
Clear Cbash and Shaders? Just an idea. I dont know what effect, if any, this would have on load times.

so following some other advice i pretty much deleted all mods!! so no i can get into the game quickly...BUT....in single player i only have access to cars and track (gt3 and autopolis) even though i have unsubscribed and re-subscribed to cars and tracks. even track files installed in packages don't show up to choose. and yes in series i have clicked all cars and tracks and pressed accept..any ideas what i can do
 
If you have re subscribed to all of the content that you wish to have, then restart The launcher again. It may need to re download all that content.
 
at the top of the screen where you choose cars and tracks, there is a choice between "all events' or race events.(paraphrasing, I can't remember the exact names. Click on that and make sure you have chosen the 'all cars and tracks' option.

Hi I don't know if this helps but between the + and the command shouldn't be any space e.g. steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../rf2-cmd-b ...
 
@JParra apart from the second one saying "teamcmd"? :p (I'm sure that's just a paste error into here)

Do you always do your spaces like that? Normally each +option doesn't have a space after the + . But maybe it works that way. As far as I know your second line should work regardless of where it's run (ie whether there's another version already in that folder or not). What did you use to install the first new version?
 
@JParra Is it possible the process for server B was still running, despite you closing the GUI? That would stop it overwriting the .exe and updating the version. Just guessing.
 
Yes, have the same problem when closing the dedi server. It is known at S397 and they are looking for a fix. We will see, when it will come. Hopefully soon ;)
