Also check to see if you have lots of RCD files, there seems to be an issue with that of you have lots.

Our guys have reported that deleting the RCD files have fixed this issue. Some of them had thousands of RCD files stored up.

just back up your current one (name it player.bak) and run the game, it creates a fresh one.

so it just took about 15 mins to load into single player..before the last patch load times on single and mulit player was normal

How much Content do you have? Might be worth a clean out perhaps, certainly an odd issue.

Hi Guys,

my client(s) are reporting game lagging as a result of drivers (dis)connecting while using LiveRacers plugin, starting from this new version.

Has anything changed in regards to plugins? Changes to threading?

Try running without any plugins and see if you get the slow boot. That would always be my first step if after an update I get issues.
If it fixes it, then add one plugin at a time to see if it makes the slow start recur.
Might be worth a try.

Clear Cbash and Shaders? Just an idea. I dont know what effect, if any, this would have on load times.

so following some other advice i pretty much deleted all mods!! so no i can get into the game quickly...BUT....in single player i only have access to cars and track (gt3 and autopolis) even though i have unsubscribed and re-subscribed to cars and tracks. even track files installed in packages don't show up to choose. and yes in series i have clicked all cars and tracks and pressed accept..any ideas what i can do

If you have re subscribed to all of the content that you wish to have, then restart The launcher again. It may need to re download all that content.
