Tried and failed. Due to age? Hehe, I don't know, but its not for me.

As I said; I stop bitching about steam. Now its time for holidays; Christmas, new year, fireworks, alcohol (but just a bit) and the main thing; family.

Nissan teams used michelins in 2013 so I don't think the car in your pic is right. I checked the season review on dailysportscar.com and it shows the car we have is correct.

Really? Also for me seems rFactor1 for the tires. And what kind of tires is used? A new one or a "recycled" model?

 

All the cars Studio 397 brings, have all the latest tech, including 'cpm enabled' tires with the latest features

I would assume, newer model, maybe similar to the C6R tire. But with some parameter, wich i havn`t seen before.

But for my eyes, both (your link and mine) cars are different...

 

Yes, the front styling is definitely different. But the one I'm finding looks the same as the mod (which I presume uses only 1 model), and says 2013 in various places, so I'd take that as correct. Maybe for whatever reason the bodywork was slightly different for the different teams?

 

Searching more, it looks like the 2012 model for the team I found looks very similar to the 2013 you found. Maybe the Nismo team had the new 2013 model while team Impul took the previous year's.

That car is awesome to race in it, and I think Studio 397 scored a home run with this release. The open server is full of new users, and yesterday I've seen at least a race with 24 pilots. Yes, there were more than 7 seconds from the top to the slower ones, but, anyway.. that is a good hit.
Many new users asked questions about RF2, I think it's time that this simulator show some official documentation in a easy accessible place (like into the sim) to guide new user to love rF2, instead of hate it for this lack of communication. For starter it would be enough to collect a lot of things that have been published on the forums, from how to set controls, common issues with this or that hardware, info about how sophisticated is the physics compartment.. and so on.

 

I'm hoping the wiki keeps getting updated with stuff.
