Happy Holidays from Studio 397!

New builds, yes. New content is a whole other thing though, right?

Actually new content and builds go sort of hand-in-hand. Many of the current cars have a "minimum required build", because new features were added to the build that the content takes advantage of. I bet most current rF2 cars/tracks wouldn't run on rF2 2012 build one, or they would at least have many glitches. One day your non-Steam build 1098 will no longer work for new content because S397 have implemented some new feature (like the transmission model that hopefully gets released some day), so then the only viable solution becomes to upgrade to Steam.

Btw, thanks for the release. :)

Well, it is holidays now, so........maybe I will try and have a look tomorrow. (If even still possible to migrate.......)

So; if you guys want to learn (some right at the spot invented) dutch swear words; get over here and take notes! Might even be interesting for Dutch speaking guys too.

Is the sound of this car correct? The only GT500 car that sounded a bit like this was the HSV but that only lasted 2 or 3 seasons
It uses the WR3.5 samples... Which kind of makes sense since the VRZ34 used in the 3.5 Renault is based on the VRH34 Nissan engine...

It might not sound exactly like the real deal, but it should be pretty close.

to me there is a high pitch sound (from the outside) when the car is on high rev that the real car did not have, at least on TV. Don't know how to explain this in english, but on high revs the sound is not right IMO

The SGT mod for GTR2 is closer to the real thing

Just ran my first laps with the new GT500 Nissan. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the in-car audio, but when I viewed a replay, WOW! What a screaming engine sound! (I like screamers and popcorn downshifts, both of which this Nissan has. I'll see if I can get used to the skidding tires but over-all this could be a fine addition to the rF2 stable.

Wrong, it says 2013. But the given car never ever looks like the 2013 SuperGT GT500...

It doesn't look a bit like this one?

I have the same interrogation about external sounds. Not sure it's the right sound for this car.
