Yes it's looked like this since the day it was released and I've cleared everything out several times. It's odd. It's just this track pack everything else is fine
@carrera.4 I'm really enjoing your mod and I appreciate your work on that! But the only gripe let's say that I find is the steering system. To me it's like the rfactor 1 system, is there any chance that you will make it standard rf2 steering system? (I know that you can change the deegrees but it would be nice to have it there.) Thanks! Keep working on it!
Already had a version with the new steering system. But i was not happy with the result, ffb feels different and dont find a way to improve in short time, needs more work. So i changed back to the old one. But i will give again a try in future
Greetings carrera.4, Premier Sim Racing are using this wonderful mod for some of our events. Many of the drivers enjoy the mod as much as I do. The only complaint many had was the volume of the engine sounds for these cars. They had to lower their engine volumes to 1% to drive. Thanks again for the fine work.
Hey carrera.4, thanks again for your hard work! Coming here to post another quick video @ Susuka (AI: 99/25/1), less than 2 laps.
Really impressed with this Mod, one of my favourites. I've a quick question on camera settings as I'd like to alter the TV Cockpit view, but struggling to see where the settings are held. I've tried changing TV Cockpit in the F1_1988_cams.cam file, which doesn't seem to have any effect. I then looked at the cockpitinfo.ini for specific vehicles and changed the TVOffset values - still no obvious impact. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
That looks so much like real life from back in the day, would you mind if I shared this video,it looks so impressive with that projected view
Hi i've experienced that some cars are suddenly throwed in the air on s397 zandvoort track. is this a mod related or track problem? i have seen this behaviour with other mod and track combinations too. if needed i can upload a video or screenshot.
I have a question. I was just about to download but I read there is a problem with using an H-shifter with these cars. Is that correct? Like some sort of delay or something? Thanks.
I noticed a small delay, but I was using a Logitech shifter that came with my G920. This unit is quite small and the throw between gears is also quite small, so didn't have any issues. I was using it in this race, for info:
Well I will say I watched that video earlier and your blips look a bit wierd. Some of them a like 4000rpms or something. I probably need to dl it and try it myself.
OK I just tested it and the shifts seem fine with my H shifter. Still trying to make sense of everything else though. F1 is always crazy if you haven't driven it for a while. I notice it's really loud. Can it be turned down somehow? Don't forget the engine would be heard through a helmet and ear plugs.
This is a fantastic mod well done I love that it includes all the 1988 tracks as well so it's even more immersive. I would love to more complete F1 mods like this one.
This mod is the best!!! Bring me back to the GPL days 1998 and the old rfactor 79 mod. specialy the update for the tracks. I must have....!! Realy like this mod codemasters 2017 is a shame if you drive this cars.... Thanks Carrera4
Hi Carrera4. First thank you for this awesome mod. Just a small aiw fix would be great. I see a small slow down in blanchimont (spa) from AI and also in Lesmo (Monza). My 2 cents Thanks alot.
