Formula 1 1988 released

Most of the time I drive the March aswell - don`t know why, but I like her - but I haven`t got your talent :)
Hey thx. I spent most of the weekend spinning or crashing out before finally managing a clean(ish) race !! I normally drive the Ferrari but decided to test the Benetton, March and Ligier around this track. The March just felt like the more balanced and well-behaved car. And a lovely colour too  !!

C. Banger's Detroit race video inspired me to try this epic mod again but I cannot get the steering range correct. Whether using the car specific ranges or setting the range manually from 180 deg to 900 deg, the steering is not responsive. I can turn the wheel well past 90 deg and only get a little turn in and the animated wheel in game has turned maybe 30 deg. I ave played with the lock settings in the garage to no avail. I have an Accuforce with the wheel set up for 900 deg in Sim Commander. Would very much appreciate any tips or suggestions so I can enjoy this mod as much as I did in rF.

Thank You. Superb effort :)

Please, i love this mod but it´s forcing the HUD.
There is no way to change it in multiplayer and now it´s forcing in single player too.

give us a option to not have the HUD.

HUD is very personal and everyone has one diferent. Forcing HUD is a bad idea.

thanks

Didn't give it a try before.
I was my loss, great mod, the car convey perfectly their brutal behavior.
Cars are really challenging to drive with manual shifter.
Didn't try all tracks yet, but with this mod, RF2 shines.
Thanks and cheers.

Hi,
First of all, thanks for such a complete and polished series for rF2.

I would like to report a problem. I am using S397/ISI SLS as safety car, and I noticed that on 1988 tracks, this SC is missing wheels etc. I tried taking screenshot but couldn't take a nice one, but the problem is very obvious. I tried Spa and Monza.

SC looks ok on official track and some of community ones, so I wonder if there's some authoring conflict with 1988 tracks here. Thanks!

my guess would be a material that matches something on the track and is being over-written. But that is from someone WITH NO REAL KNOWLEDGE bout this sort of thing. lol. Good luck solving this.

Quick replays are in slower motion, if that wasn´t said before
*Monte Carlo at least with Benetton, Thierry Boutsen

I have had a similar affect with other track and car mods, it seems to be a random effect. It seems to happen less often if you drive into the pits instead of hitting Esc. The whole sim seems to slow down, the clock runs slower and AI lap times increase. I haven't found way of stopping the affect. It's probably a bug within RF2.

Same here

What good is this in VR..................!!!!!!!!!!
It`s like in your own F1 movie :D

Little point.. in VR I can`t see the rear tyres when I am out of the car? Is there a setting for?

this is optimization in rF2, things that aren't visible (normally) aren't rendered. There is no setting AFAIK.

Is there a option to edit a map or something to reduce the volume of the cars?? because is to loud!!
When I driving Gt3 or something I must every time change the settings in the main options

Maar we zijn niet in het echte leven ... op mijn scheurhoofdtelefoon is te hard. Is er een manier om het geluid van deze auto's te bewerken?

Use Google translate? "But we are not in real life ... on my tear headphones is too loud. Is there a way to edit the sound of these cars?" This has been asked before. The owner has to fix it

Dit is eerder gevraagd. De eigenaar moet het repareren
