On some cars of this mod I have "layered" sound.
I don't know english word for it, it's like sound is not mixed and balanced, I can hear multiple channels at the same time and it changes significantly from low to high rpms.
It is very unpleasant.
Anybody experiences the same?

Just one word to sound volume.
For sure its a question of taste.
Only thing i can say this cars are exxxtremly loud, i know that bcs i was there.
In 1988 i was at the grandprix from Montecarlo (my first f1 race
.
That was the loudest thing i ever heard, before and after in my live.
Whitout ear protection u could risk to break ur ears, especially at the
start when the cars where close.
So im sorry, i will not change bcs thats how that should be imho.

Brilliant mod I of my favorites, Haven't people heard about volume controls on their keyboards or their sound system. No need to use the interface in RF2. Leave mod as it is. And thanks again for a superb mod.

I understand that it is realistic. but this is a game. if you play with an oculus rift, it is not nice to hear those loud sounds. I am a musician by in real life. I also do not release songs where one is louder than the other, the mix is always with me in the studio on one same level. I judge your work. but many people have the same problem it is too loud. if you always have to change your settings, that is not convenient.

The future is only playing for about 30 minutes with regular breaks and then having extreme nausea for the rest of the day?

The future is going to upgrade your PC for VR, only to find the cost of a 'VR capable' GPU is now MORE than the cost that a whole new PC would have cost 3 years ago.
Don't get me wrong, I think VR is the future, but only for rich people who have money to burn, or stupid people who don't realise how much they are getting ripped off.
I'm gutted as I want to upgrade my PC, but I refuse to pay £1000 for a 1080Ti.

I play every day a few hours without nausea or headaches.
It's normal to need some days to adapt to the VR, but normally the process is short, or in some cases, none.
We are not rich. Are you convinced that we are stupid? Do you think that insult people is the best way to tell something? That you are frustrated doesn't mean that we are stupid.
If you don't want to buy a 1080TI, don't buy it. You can use the VR with a cheaper GPU.

I think you both misunderstand me...
If you pay 50% more than the RRP for a product then you must have so much money that you don't care, or you're not bright enough to figure out that you are being ripped off.
For those of you who were lucky enough to buy a high end GPU before the crypto-bubble then good for you. For the rest of us we are being priced out of the PC market by people who are not using graphics cards for graphics.

I buy a WMR for 250 euro I have a GTX 1060 6go 300e and I5 3570k a 70e and I take a lot of fun with the VR even if I have not the graph full but it's ok

You are right with this:

Don't pay that money because it's not necessary. My 1080 and my CV1 cost considerably less than £1000.
