After testing a little bit, I'd like to give feedback on cockpit sounds. They're a bit too low compared to the rest. The external sounds from chase camera are good. One thing I noticed with the DTM mod is that in an accident, the doors may come off the car but from cockpit view they're still intact. I wasn't able to replicate that (yet) in this mod, but if the construction is the same as in the DTM mod then it should technically also happen. Lastly, I struggle getting some feeling from the car's tires at low speeds including corners.

Yeah the damange model from ISI needs to be improved at the moment becase not all exterior damage parts are visible in cockpit view, especially the one called DEBRIS in gen.
With this new mod we are using damage parts like that now:
Front bumper,
Hood,
Rear bumper,
Trunk,
Wing holder,
Rear wing.
Once you crash Bayro E5 you will see alot of parts flying around and that the model is done completly from trunk to engine parts. We leaved doors out this time.
Someone mentioend that hood is staying on in cockpit view, its added to debris part at the moment so it doesnt brake off in cockpit view. Will change it to something that does brake off from all views.
 
Good thing the over-reflectiveness of the Rollcage has already been adressed, i also noticed that the airvents seem to have the same issue.

I also wanted to complain about the weird gear that is visible below the dashboard, but i checked out some real life pics and it is there in the real car as well :) It looks like its connected to a potentiometer for recording the steering angle or something

Otherwise i can only say again, car feels absolutely great. Braking is, as said, a bit twichty, but the braking power and cornering speeds are spot on in my opinion.

Haha, yeah that gear under there is funny one, ive edited that now a bit, is less visible and looks better now. Rollcage still has reflection but diferent ones now as ive added new shader. Im going to send later today new version to you guys. Diferent physics that was from older beta so you can test it.

Will notice you guys here when email is going out. Than until end of next week you can test this version and we can decide in wich direction of physics we go.
 
We are on the same Time zone and I'm waiting for your mail since midday, can't wait driving this new version :D

Man i wish the download link was sent out automatically after payment dont have long to run today before family duties start...guess ill go check server list for something to run and try to stop being so impatient...
 
Email is out with Bayro E5 1.1 version

Ive added 2 physics files-white and black car order.

Let me know wich one you prefer.

Few other things edited to:
Mirrors fixed, removed the one from windshield and had to add new bigger one mounted to rollbar.
Rollbar edited, remapped and retextured. Added bump map welding points.
Driver skins and helmets added just to fit them bit more with the car.
Edited and adjusted some textures and probably more we talked about to.

No sound updates yet.

I tried black and white car and I prefer the black one. I can drive about the same time with both around LimeRock (.20 sec faster with black one), but with white I have feeling like TC is always on. I don`t know, blacky is more responsive in turns and transfers more feedback from road to steering wheel.

... but version 1.0 fits me the best, even I drive a lap almost second slower than with 1.1 :).

Feels much better now. Thank you! Have to compare black and white car tomorrow.

One point. Is it just me, or have 1.1 now some monster rear mirror? Looks much to big imho.
 
What's about the braking issues?!

Brakes are more or less the same but grip from rear wing so as suspensions are diferent on black one. Best it to test it and you will feel it. With physics it is so that brakes can be good as they should be but if other things dont fit directly you will feel it like brake issues.

i like your Mods very much! Best i have seen so far for rF2 :-)
you mentioned somewhere, that you have a real race driver to test your mod. Was that right? i just think, he could give you the best response about the physics of E5. The most people here never drove a real race car, they are just suggesting, how it could feel right, but we don't know really. That's just what i think.
And comparing with other simulations is difficult i think. Who says, they are really correct? ;-)
