[REL] EnduranceRacingX EGT by URD Update V2 July 2016!

Drove a few laps with the bayro and crashed it into a wall then i noticed that the hood comes off in the tv cam and some others but if ur looking through the cockpit or bonnet cam the hood is still on and the car looks like nothing has happend.
Really good work on that car, can't tell anything about physics as i never drove a racecar but it feels great to drive and braking is a bit hard like someone else mentioned above at the end of the brakingprocess the car tries to spin out. FFB seems a bit strong for me iam gonna try to put it a bit down from 1.00 cause in some fast corners i got some clippings.

Ales, are you interested in bug reports at this point?

One thing I noticed: from an external cam, the steering wheel doesn't move when you turn.
 
Thank you for this mod, no trouble during buying process, got the mail in a few minutes.
Generally, the car feels really good, it's a great fun to drive.
As other said, I've also noticed some trouble while braking, the front end of the car slides suddenly.
Graphically, all looks fine in 3D, dirt windshield gives more depth that is very cool.
Got same mirrors issue as in 2D.
Sounds are good, I love the screeching of tires and outside motor sound. But, inside sounds are really too low, I do have to turn up the volume and once in replay, outside sounds are too loud.
Whatever, I can't wait for other cars, may be this mod will become an hit...

Edit: I forgot to say that up to now, Ai is very good on a few tracks I drove on.

Awesome car and as mentioned already done very very well. Seems like u got the overall car characteristic spot on. Compared to the Vette its a Lil slower on top end but a lot more nimble, just like the real cars this season in the ALMS.
One small issue for me is the cockpit view doesn't seem centered, camera could go a tick to the right. Had similar issue wit the Pixsim Lola. Don't know if its only on my end. Only thing I change is the seat pitch setting in player file and that shouldn't really affect the centering.
Again great job and I can't wait for the rest if the cars.
 
Really enjoying the initial feel of the car! My only feedback for now is for a clear windshield :p
 
Just had a chance to check this out for a few laps around Sebring. I gotta say the model is excellent, the exterior is gorgeous and the interior I'm sure will look just as good with the tweaks you've posted. The sounds, I think they are fine. I did get a little bit of flickering and pop-ups around the track at Sebring that I don't get with any other car, and I only saw it in cockpit view...I'm running at reduced detail levels on Player and Track, if that is of any importance to know (had a similar issue with the new F3 at Euroring, and I believe it's the detail level at fault).

The physics...well, as was said before, the braking is WEIRD in the front-end, even just a little bit of brakes at high speed kicks the front-end around. Adjusting brake bias towards the back helps a little bit, but it doesn't seem to be the cause of the issue. I'm no engineer, so I can't really give much more detailed info than that, but it is a major problem that *almost* makes the car undriveable (but it's not, it maybe is even just a default setup problem). Everything else about the car does seem to be pretty good; I didn't notice any other major problems right off the bat anyway.

I do have one MAJOR complaint about the car though. Now, maybe it is fixable through skins...if it is, tell me, and I won't even worry about it, I'll just make a new skin for it. It's the dirty windshield! I cannot stand a dirty windshield, it is something that I must fix immediately on any car I drive in real life, and it is really even worse on a sim. Honestly, it doesn't even seem very realistic to me either, as any pit crew would just rip the Tear-off for you and leave you with a nice clean windshield (unless these cars don't use tear-offs, in which case windex and a squeegee could be used). If this can't be fixed with a new skin, can we at least get an option in the Tuning section for a clean windshield?

Other than all that, I really like the car. I hope I don't come across as being too harsh on the mod, those little issues are just ones that stand out to me. I have 100% faith that you guys will fix the little things, and I can already tell this will be one of my favorite mods. I'm excited to see how things progress going forward, so Thank You for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful project!

For the windows, they are paintable but i could think of doing it as upgrade. Make dirty one as default but those who wants it clean can upgrade it.

And here, found out that the mirror needs to be diferent. The small one is gone on the windshield and new one is mounted to rollbar and its bigger!

Ok cool, I haven't yet tried to make my own skin so I didn't know it could be painted. It isn't a problem at all then. An option in Tuning would be nice, but it certainly shouldn't be a priority, as it probably only bothers a couple of us anyway. BTW, that updated cockpit is looking SWEET! The welds on the roll bar is an especially nice touch. You guys are awesome, and this mod will be well worth the money, if anyone is still on the fence!
 
Hi Ales! thanks for this mod! I really like the car high quality model( the cockpit needs some more work and better textures though)!
But, you really should work in the brake, because the car doesn't slow down! it feels like a car from 60' and like the others have said, the front brakes have a worrying behaviours!
This a modern racing car and it should have a modern brakes that makes the braking more easy and more safely!
I hope you can resolve this issues!
The ffb is good and the sound isn't that bad, but it needs some work!
Overall, a nice mode that need a "few update" specialy the brakes!
