I can see the difference... it does look better imo. I`ve messed around with the colours on some screens I`ve taken too and it definitely does make a difference and quite a big difference sometimes. Btw, iirc Tim has said many times that the colours and the way rf2 uses them will be given the attention they deserve.
Yeah and that was just a quick 1 minute correction with no real thought in it. Imagine someone took time. I'm glad that Tim acknowledged it, I didn't see that post but it definitely makes me feel like there's some promise and they aren't resting on it as is. Great news.
It's that time of day again. Finished some more buildings on the track. Heres the screenshot i like the most, more on my website Still need to update the infield and outfield grass textures.
You are Feels3 in disguise? Very similar art style. Looks great, really does, well done. Good to see the track looking good during normal racing light aswell. So many tracks only seem to look good with dusk and dawn which is annoying, i prefer this lighting above. Same with the Feels 3 tracks, they look good at all times of the day
Hehe thanks. Screenshots i'm taking are from the Gmotor Viewer which afaik doesn't have dynamic clouds that the main build engine does. I'll gladly be proven wrong though. Also i'm looking for someone to help out with the AIW, it's by far my weakest element right now and don't want to track to suffer from crappy AI after taking the time to build it.
Here's an overview of the current state of the infield. Still some things to do such as a marshal post, adding another tyre wall on the inside of turn 2, few more advert signs and adding random objects like portaloos, cars, trucks. not decided if i'm going to make them myself or use some from standard ISI tracks (which i hope is OK if not i'll defiantly do them myself).
Looking very good.. I'm pretty sure I have this years race on my HDD at home, would you like this to assist with advertising etc ?
sorry to go OT, has Tosh released any of these AIW files anywhere? interested in seeing hsi work! WHAT - looking fab, loving the attention to detail
