That's me done for now. been working on this on and off throughout the day. The chairs are textured for the seat and arms in white so the colour is vertex colour which means i can make each one a different colour if i want too. There's 6 of the scaffold camera stands around the track including the one on the roof of the track control building.
Superbe A model which you can reuse on your next track too Ethone used this technic for Nazareth too http://www.trackcreation.net/devdiary/?p=541
Realized i couldn't be lazy with the naming of bones for the flag animation, so took me a while to figure out why fix bone names wasn't working when i exported the copied flags. Fixed in the end although an hour wasted. rF2 flag flying high over Symmons
Hey I got a "flag" you can use if you want. Might look good , color-wise. I made up a company for a livery. I thought it might look good up there
Just finished implementing the new real road shader onto the track and curb. Also desaturated the grass a bit to get a more realistic colour pallet. Thoughts?
that does exactly that WHAT, makes it realistic, fantastic looking When you do the Cams (or get someone else) you will be having the Wall Cam on the outside of Turn 2 right?
Outstanding. Everything you have shown us so far looks great. Looks as if you have great attention to detail as well as a passion for track building. Looking forward to leaving some marks on that track.
Looks great!!! Maybe the curbs are a little bit to saturated. Try what it looks like under fully sunny conditions (T lum @ 5) and a low whitepoint (1.70).
Thanks for the feedback Here is one with those settings Tosch. Also desaturated the curb texture a bit.
, AIW needs work yet and i got all the trees and more buildings to add. I'm not building a track I'm building an environment is the best way to put it.
And an amazing one at that. But if any user feedback would be helpful on the track itself, feel free to release as-is and keep polishing while a bunch of us try to find any errors or flaws in the basic foundation. Or, so someone can help with AIW if that's not your expertise. If you are an AIW expert as well as being a graphics expert, then I have to agree with the comment above that ISI should hire you!
