Thanks Nic at least I know I wasn't imagining it I am not a fan of the "on ice" grip either, I have never driven a 70's sports car but these are now starting to feel like what I think they might feel like, a little challenging but not uncontrolable and the most important for me is they are fun to drive... nice work to both you and chief
since tyre tgm is same as 397's F1 75, could the "high grip" issue came from downforce? I had a quick look at the some of the HDV rearwing RWLiftParams of 0.92, and both 1st & 2nd values (negative) are almost twice or more than 397's F1 75 RWLiftParams, which may result more downforce & grip.
Thank You Victor Basically, Sportcars ‘70 had less drag of F1 cars and a better aerodynamic balance because they were covered on wheels Adjustements on this aspect are surely one of the improvements that could be done…..but Sportcars were more aerodynamic than F1 cars in ‘70 years, although commonly they used less powered engines
Chief, perhaps you could check if the cockpit is generating shade inside. Even with the raised door windows, the driver seems too bright. This happens in many other mods and even on some DLC content, with variable levels of this issue manifesting.
Hello Chief. I love your work. Thank you. Today I decided to try some of these 70s Sports Cars at a track that I have actually driven and know well. (CTMP ). I tried the McLaren M8F and found the sound and graphics awesome. However, at CTMP this car and others are lapping way too fast. I managed a 1: 08 with little effort and in real life this car should lap CTMP at around 1:16. My feeling is that the tires are too "grippy".
I know it is the wrong decade...but there should be some love for the true Can-Am cars...Chaparral, Mclaren, Lola, Ford, (even the Mckee!)
