Released Reiza Pack Out Now!

Do you think Reiza can add some new DLCs (mostly tracks) for a new money source, for those who are not satisfied with AMS 2 ? I still believe the Reiza reputation with rF2 is far better than with the Madness engine.
No. Sales would not justify the licensing and conversion costs.
Those costs when relating to AMS2 are a long term investment on their product, so it makes sense to launch DLC at a loss.
In rFactor 2, nope.

Similar question: Will MSG's now make packs for AMS2? :D (It's salty I know)

Madness nowadays is mainly visual and sounds I think, the belief of old madness with bugs or pcars2 talk is long outdated if you ask me. The latest cars are not what I was used to two years ago, I even used PCars for fun a few weeks ago, damn that was so crappy. They are on the right path and actually in a way better shape business-wise perhaps. I just hope the UI in AMS2 can get a refresh as it feels a bit confusing and overdone in some way. A clean modern look would give this game a bit more pro feeling.

If I was Renato I would sell my 3D at a good price and leave all else to MSG's. His question gives me the impression that the right people from early on, are long gone.

Maybe this is why the update is taking so long, not Reiza to blame, who knows? Hopefully both can arrange the update package very soon and maybe also make sure the cars are on latest tire models for example. I think they will.

Go to the Folder ..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\365960\1694798885 and put a Copy of the 2 rfcmp Files into your Packages Folder, to keep the current Version 1.06/1.07.
When (ever) they will be updated, you can install them manually then and check if they conflict with the updated Version.
If yes, you'll have to edit the old Version a little bit.

Aren't those DLC cars encripted or have some kind of activation? What would deter someone to share the rfcmp of DLC cars to friends?

The activation part means they don't work unless you own them. Sharing the files probably still shouldn't be done, but you can keep old versions of DLC in this way (It works, I mean).

I actually prefer Reiza's tyres to 2017/18 TGM tyres and it's highly doubtful that S397 would share data/settings/... on their newer tyres to a semi-direct competitor...

To say schedule projections for this update have been unreliable would be a massive understatement so without insisting on that mistake, here is is a status update - we have now updated all the content (cars & tracks) to the latest PBR shaders, audio has been updated to better suit the new audio engine and physics revisions are ongoing. To make up for the delays we´ve elected to to replace the older AMS1 F-Vee & Metalmoro AJR models with the latest higher quality ones from AMS2, with liveries likewise updated - previews below.

It´s been a while since we have been in contact with S397 management regarding the Bundle and obviously in this time the studio has gone through some reshuffling, I´m not sure who I should reach out to regarding QA & delivery of these 3rd party content updates so if they could kindly get in touch we are looking forward to advancing this.
Thanks for the great news!
Is there a minimal chance for the Nürburgring classic DLC?
Please, please please...
I have it in AMS2, but your classic tracks for rF2.... Insta buy!

Imo this will not happen.
These tracks are a standalone feature for ams2. Why should Reiza release them in another sim only to see the players leave ams2?
This is competition for economic success.

yeah if all the AMS2 content was in rF2, nobody would play with AMS2.....wonder why ;)

I wouldn't generalize that.
AMS2's great strength is the immersion in VR.
And with the custom ffb file "rfuktor" it's not bad at all. The name of the profile speaks for itself.

FFB is subjective, the physics are facts, and the physics are at a lower level in AMS2 than in rF2.
How do you quantify physics in sim A are better than in sim B? Do you have a source code for both and analyzed it?
Compared sim Motec data with real car data output?

good question, iRacing and rF2 are the highest level, I use both games and they are similar about the precision, reaction, brake and behavior... and AMS2 is far far far behind, unprecise, so much much more forgiving so I guess it's numb physics....that's why no esport, no major event, nothing....I let you compare with Motec and report to us, don't want waste time for this when I know the results ;)

a good video :
I feel exactly the same.

What do you mean exactly by imprecise? And Compared to what? To a real car or to the car another sim?

AMS2 is one of couple PC sims I don’t own so not arguing it’s better than others, but it’s supposed to be significantly upgraded physics to pCars2. And before you say pCars2 is simcade:

Relevant part starts at around 2:30

it's simcade ;), about iRacing and rFactor2, like I said, it's the closest feeling from the reality, you seem to not play with them....or not really skilled, cause AMS2 is a game which doesnt need a lot of skill.
Unprecise is in AMS2 you drive a boat, unprecise, in iRacing or rFactor 2 you drive a formula;).
Any iRacing or rFactor2 players immediately notice that AMS2 is far behind about the simulation level.

Why not respond with:

" Hey Renato, thanks a lot for keeping us in the loop about the new car models and PBR updates. It's awesome to see the dedication to updates and improvements. The dedication to constant improvement is truly appreciated. It's understood that time is scarce, and the update was very much welcomed. "

I understand that everyone may have different opinions, but let's try to keep the discussion positive and on topic. If there are specific concerns or suggestions, let's share them respectfully so everyone can benefit from a better DLC experience. What is the point of the iracing, pcars2 debate anyways?

you are right, thanks for the update, the Reiza rF2 bundle is a proof that rF2 drives better ;).
About a suggestion, I remember the Reiza cars have always cockpit movement, like a bug, I don't know if it's removed or still present, it was annoying.
