I try to make a new install, and maybe it solve the problems, but i'm not sure. I have no problem at all, but somebody have, so i try to do it today.
 
Install:
Before you install the new 1.7 version, you need to uninstall and delete all previous version of this mod.

Maserati Trofeo v1.7 Complete: (105MB) The zip include the 1.7 rfcmp version, and no longer VMOD version.

I've downloaded... uninstalled... and re-installed several times with no changes. I'm only installing the v1.5 mod and sounds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

UPDATE: I downloaded it again from Navigator's drop box link.

It worked! Now I'm grabbing v1.7 and will also have it on my server later on tonight.

Hey, thanks for the update, Tommy78, hope I won't have to drive Maseratis from the floor again ;)

Downloading now, will test tomorrow, maybe on Bryan's server (well, depends on which track is loaded; if Nords, I'm afraid I won't)

I installed 1.7 and the cockpit view is perfect but i'm still sat on the floor in hood/bonnet view cam, still a great car though :D
 
Î tried the Maserati (v1.7) again after some time and it feels really great now, something must have been changed! Maybe the combination with build 134?

I cant use the cockpit view because of stereoscopic 3D (all cars except openwheelers are straining the eyes unfortunately). So i have to use Nose or TV cockpit view. But using Nose view with this mod i am only driving ~10 cm above the track (way too low), and the TV cockpit view is ~2m above track (way too high).

I would appreciate a change in the camera position for these views.

Should this car be handling more like the new Vette?

I feel that Maserati feels much more loose (not stable) and has weak brakes compared to Corvette... braking distance is grazy long and when you try to brake it locks too easily and looses rear end.

Am I only one who feels this? Can this be looked at?

The Maserati and the Corvette are a very different car, and class. The Corvette is a GT2 car, and the Maserati almost a road car with few changes. There is no ABS system, so you can locks the wheels easily.
 
Very nice job! Only problem i am getting is the sound. Engine sound is very rough. Could be on my end, but don't have this problem with any of the other cars. .
