Maybe the demo can still be the Chevy cars with Silverstone with added content to display the game as best as ISI can. Or it could have the Brabham with Monte Carlo 1966, or BTCC Civic and who knows.

The test server had drivers on it last night. I noticed "Honda" was in the server name.

'ISI_Honda_Silverstone_Demo' is the mod name on 'ISI 630' test server just now.

It will, this will replace existing demo(s). Just the BTCC contacts will also be sharing and promoting it with us.

Honda is one of most controversial cars. I believe it is nearly perfect based on IRL experience with similar car but you know how community is. Whether something is truly accurate doesn't matter. Are there not pages and pages of debate over this vehicle? The fact that it is fwd doesn't help either because anything foreign is usually castigated immediately and don't even think about anything remotely challenging to drive.

So sad Skippy is not good choice either because people don't know how to drive. Would be great wedge, though, to get more technical drivers in and demotivate those looking for Forza 5 to reinforce their inflated sense of ability.

Can't do 60s open wheelers either because some are just dead set against open wheel for whatever reason.

I don't drive modern race cars so can't comment on them.

If can do multiple then I'd definitely include Panoz for fun factor (lol fFactor), skip for rawest most accurate and convicing and karts based on incredible reception and civic might be nice as long as is not onky vehicle.

in a lot of cases a sim-car is subject to personal taste so it's risky just supplying one car but at the same time ISI shouldn't give away to much

be good if the rf2 demo could feature x3 sim cars & x2 tracks, but have a time limit of something like 6 hours,
after which the payment interface is shown

(with aids defaulted all to off except auto clutch), get permission to use as default the new minimalist UI too

    skip Barbour
    megane
panoz (maybe as some people like to drift around) or formula ISI

If someone is put off by a realistic car, this isn't the product for them anyway. You can't be afraid to turn away people who will turn away themselves.

I agree with what you are saying & I would only recommend to have the track rubbered in to an extent but I'm sure you guys have already thought that through.

Best car for me, by far, (for demo) is Megane with LimeRockPark or Silverstone track.

Right now when I tried karts with standard default settings (controller and setup) it was completely undriveable for me. Nothing close to any kart that I have ever driven in my life. I know the kind of product rfactor series wants to be. If I was a professional kart driver and try it looking for realism I would give it up soon. Isn't possible to have a decent default configuration for it?

What's decent to you might not be to others.
