http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/cars/ They go in the same places as car skins, and just add HELMET and DRIVER before .dds.
Thanks have been waiting for it I like the fact we can now also paint the driver itself, but I am thinking how I can check my work when I skin them, but I think I won't be able to see every angle from the driver ingame with the normal camera's. My wish would be that also the driver can appear in the showroom to be able to check your painting. would be really nice
Tim, for what driver is that becase i cant find that one, the template doesnt fit to any of the drivers in cmaps.mas Any chance to release tempaltes for other drivers to or will this template be for main generic driver in future to?
ISI updated the model for some of the more recent releases like the C6r and updated F2. I guess this template fits this driver model. I wish we had a template for the older one for which they released the rigged 3ds max model or an updated 3ds max model.
tryed and not worked, also where are the gloves? Need to paint them I do following: Created this directory: UserData\player\Settings\Renault_ClioCup_Car\Clio_22 Added the driver suit called car_22DRIVER.dds Nothing changed ingame, also noticed the seat have wrong textures on the Clio Edit: renamed to Clio_22DRIVER.dds and still the same Edit 2: renamed to Clio_22altDRIVER.dds and still the same
This is how I had to name them to get them all to show up... 418_alt.dds (that's the car) 418_altDRIVER.dds 418_altHELMET.dds While this works, they all show up, I can not get the driver suit to display correctly, even before any changes are made to the template. I have tried DXT5, 3 and 1. Do driver files need to be saved differently than car skins? Have tried flattening image and not flattening image, makes no difference.
Zizza, The way I have it written there works. Mine show up, only issue I have is the drivers suit is misarranged, everything in the wrong place. File names work fine.
