Does the new ABS system support simhub bass shaker ABS active signal? Previously, rfactor ABS active were not supported in simhub bass shaker.

I noticed the old versions of the cars were not being replaced(I don't think I have a mod) and loading up cars for a track I saw both versions in the opponents listed. #4 Mercedes v2.95 & #4 v3.51 both together for example.

Probably well worth checking Modmgr to see if something is forcing the old builds to remain - probably a league pack or an LFM pack or something I would guess
 
Not a fan of this shift protection, when I blip the throttle on downshifts it doesn't shift. It's not over revving either which is what shift protection is supposed to protect against. Coming out of a corner thinking you're in 1 gear lower only to feel like no power is a car killer.
Mercedes still feels bland at best no weight on the front wheels. Drive the Porsche with the engine in the back then drive the Merc.

Having to move all my skins to new folders after only doing it a few weeks ago after HD failure is annoying and something you guys keep doing when you update cars.

So far not to impressed but thanks for the continued updates.
 
indeed shift protection is a new thing that alters my driving style a lot
i hope its not bugged or something and its me that has to make new style
will see

Looked at ModMgr and there were a few tracks & cars not installed I cleaned all that up and still both versions show in the menu.

Hmm, maybe worth checking nothing from workshop is installed that has a relationship to the cars, and also maybe worth a verify integrity of steam files?
 
When trying to create folders to put my Bentley skins in the game is freezing.

Edit: 2020 version works
the older one gives me this error

I'm having problems with shifting.
Neither upshift nor downshift possible after some hundred meters of driving. Using clutch pedal helps partially.
Tried it with Aston and Porsche.
 
I think that some cars have too little braking power, so it's very hard to get them into ABS. That you can not downshift while staying on throttle, I also find very strange. With the Cup Porsche, it was still said that would be so with the car so I think ok, but I can not imagine that should also be so with all GT3 vehicles. It's annoying that if someone brakes in front of you surprisingly and you want to quickly downshift, that you have to go off the throttle pedal first even when the revs are very low.

I have been asking Studio397 to allow to share ABS and tires locking telemetry since last year. I don’t understand why does it take so much time to do it?! A lot of users use bass shakers and rumbles kit for the pedals and it would be great to feel ABS and tires through these rumbles kits and shakers… it improves a lot out driving experience.

Are there any improvements planned in the graphics department? The cockpits are starting to look really outdated, especially compared to the 992.

Probably not, it'll take a long time to do, and we don't have a lot of free time right now.
