[REL] GP3 SERIES 2016/2017/2018 2.31

Why inner temp are always low and outer temp are always too hot (with any camber setting)?
I did several tests and everything works perfectly, no idea of the reason you read weird temperatures...

Few quick results, looking at one front tire... obviously temperatures differs depending of the load and the moment I got data, but anyway there is no doubt that everything works:

camber = -4.75° (max available value in setting): IN 102 - MID 84 - OUT 81
camber = 0.0° (min available value in setting): IN 62 - MID 78 - OUT 91

Your outter temp at max camber is hotter than your mid and inner, also on the lowest camber your inner is hotter than outter.

Dude that’s backwards like I said a while ago

It is quite common with updated tyres, I have noticed, including the S397 ones.

The formula Renault 3.5 doesn’t do this and I’m sure it has the latest cmp, I will check though as you maybe onto something

Edit just checked, fr 3.5 is indeed on latest cmp.

OPS! My fault I crossed values, ahahahaha
just few more data without "forcing" drive at 0° are identical for in-mid-out = 57 when with -3° (default setup) are in76 -mid 56 - out49
I can say : closed case.

Edit: I already fixed the post... sorry that now few posts look weird.

well now I kept you attention today, LOL, here is something that changes what I wrote few weeks ago:

After last confidential info we got, we are evaluating to develop the new Formula 3 2019 by scratch. Further info will follow in the appropriate thread in case we'll go ahead with the project.
Thank you.
Pleeeeeeease do it hehehehehe!!!!!!

Yesterday i've raced on medium tyres, there are my motec screens of camber at lap 8. Rear tyres seems ok, but no the front:

Inner Temps

Surface Temps

Camber:

Camber settings on setup: FL -3.5 FR -2.5
On hard tyres, this camber settings are ok, with medium and soft also if i set -4.5 isn't enought. What i wrong?

Good find, I never tried the other compounds, maybe the soft tyre walls are falling over because of not being stiff enough, along with everyone running lowest pressure

The newest cpm has been applied to GT3 GTE and some modders already use it but as far as i know most of the old cars like F3.5 dont have it yet
Some modders use CPMv2(i.e. Apex GT3, Enduracers, GP3) but probably none of them has the absolute latest(from Endurance and GT3 Packs) , since there's been significant delay between S397 updates TM, and releases new tires examples, or updates tools used to generate them.
