Great job, the render in game is wonderful !! I'm interested by your material settings on 3DS Max you use in export scene. When you finished your material work is it possible to have an mtl export to use as reference? Because on my cars currently in work, the render is so bad in rF2 ... Yours are so clean !!
Wow... so rouhgly over 100,000 poly count.. have you tried with more than 1 car on track, if soo how is the FPS rates.. The car is stunning, and I am intrieged by what you are doing to the .gdb!!!! all the best of luck mate!!!
Too early to put more cars on track ingame - as I've to create LODs (expecially for cockpit interiors) and textures. BTW, I'm thinking to the fact that actual F3 championship runs with 10/11/14 cars on track. For now, just testing in devmode, I do not feel any problem with 20 LOD100 cars around the track...so seems there is a good margin for future optimizations.
The F3s make for utterly awesome racing online though, I really wouldn't mind being able to run them in larger fields than just 10 cars. I don't think them having 10/11/14 cars on track is by choice.
BTW, the most detailed parts are into the cockpit, not in the bodyshape...so I think with a good lodding it could work fine in a large field as well.

I'm near to start a private betatesting period for the physic side. For those who are interested in making beta testing with the Dallara F309 Italia, please, send me a PM with your contacts. I'm searching for "expert" sim drivers with some rFactor physic skills for a better comunication and of course a basic knowledge in racing car settings. I think I should need a max of 3/4 testers for this specific field. Actually I'm working with 1 (maybe 2 in the future) real formula car drivers that are helping me for the general handling, but I would like to cross feedbacks between sim drivers and real drivers to find the right line... The beta testing period should start next week. Thanks... PS: ***this is NOT a graphics and/or general car look beta testing***
Well, if you're pointing at the first car export used for shots there was not physics in the car...just a first export. There are no new shots of the entire finished car...
Gosh, that model looks amazing, take your time on ths Tuttle it looks as though it could be somthing really special
Thanks mate. I'm trying to do my best on this...as I love this car and I've some good contacts in the F3 ambient...so I'm working with a tons of data and feedbacks from the real deal. It's not so easy put real values into the simulator as you've to find the better way to translate those real parameters for the game engine...this is the more complex (and interesting) part of the job... Unfortunately the Tire documentation is nothing special...so I've to work just in trial & error, using the most similar Tire model for this section...hoping for some good feedbacks from testers.. Hope to give you a nice car to enjoy...
Hello, Tuttle. yesterday, I taked high resolution photos of F308! especially, naked framed. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7068-High-Resolution-Formula-3-car-s-photos P.S. I hope we would drive your mod soon
