found and fixed @Haris1977 and a very light improvement for damages @pilAUTO 1.01 will come soon with: - improved damages in case of using the option "damageable" - fixed wrong behavior of AUDI4 in case of using FWD - RWD server edition - fixed wrong behavior of AUDI in case of using 4WD serve edition
The damage is "visible scratchable", and that's what I want. I probably explained myself poorly and I apologize for not having a good English. I think it would be nice to intensify the impact of the shocks on the physics/driving/behavior of the car, not specifically on the visual. For example on aerodynamics, suspensions, etc. EDIT: I see you have been working on the damage visual aspect, if you have the time I think it would be interesting to look at the damage aspect on physics.
Sweet. Thanks for posting that issue @Haris1977. I had found it too on the first day, but thought my rF2 got broken somehow with a s397 update as I don't drive much anymore and software had just been updated. Never came to report as I gave up too quick to test. Nice to know I wasn't the only one finding the same issue you had, and that you told the team and they're already fixing it .
Contrary to your nick, this was a quickie! Two more - small - issues. 1) All engine sounds are a little bit low - compared to my other mods. 2) Are y planning to implement any engine damage / blow off? E.g when you abuse the car or when you downshifting? This would be nice..
Thanks... point 1: increase volume in rF2, LOL... really, again we have already discussed about volumes and I changed tires sounds to those in use by ISI there are just a little bit lower in tone. About the overall volume and engine they use the "default" values, also if default means almost nothing, because it depends also like they are sampled and I'm not intentioned to change them. point 2: already done and written into the first post: now engine of all cars suffer damages more than before...
I see thanks What i meant is that i downshifted -on purpose- from 5th to 1st (to see if the engine would have be damaged) but nothing happened. Should nt the engine have blown up by the downshift?
I understood. Once I changed the values in the file, I tested one car only, the AUDISPORT and I applied same "damage" file to all other cars... Anyway engines are different in RPM, torque, etc... so not all cars can have same behavior, but in the Audi I tested, exactly in the way to brutally downshift, engine gone with flames and smoke.
I am very satisfied with this, tested with the honda. Thank you for taking my remark into account. SlowMotion mods are particularly good ......
Why are the graphics so bad??? Okay, just kidding.) Thank you so much for your hard work! I can only imagine how long it took.
Excellent work, guys. I may be able to help recreate some liveries once I get through some of Apex's 1970 mod. Going to try and do so by the end of the month. Are you just upscaling the templates to achieve higher resolution liveries? And are these cars using PBR materials?
Thanks for info, just a mistyping: already fixed, same build 1.03! In first post I also added a... quick note: Audi mod has been updated next day of the public release, in case you have the manually downloaded version, please download it again
