@Manfredk2 I haven't been able to check, but have you changed the tarmac texture between T8 and T9?
From memory the tarmac there was dark grey instead of the "cream" coloured concrete (and if I am not mistaken, it did not generate visible rubber).
PS: When you have time, could you give a hand on Corti's improved St. Pete? Pretty please with cherry on top? ;)

No worries! It was worthwhile asking as you are closing in to the finish line on Belle... :-D
Not sure if everyone has the same issue with the tarmac between T8 and T9, as with rF2 we can't simply trust that a given issue happens to everyone...

Yesterday I told a good friend to try the track, and he said that next week we will do an event with it, that it is a very fun track and that we will look for a quick combo for next Thursday... he is delighted I don't even know how they are going the traffic lights and the pits, as I say I haven't arrived home yet... the colleague didn't report anything so, let's go:);)

maybe this is an material or uv mapping issue for this part of the track. And this uv mapping thing is far beyond my knowledge. For example: i tried for several hours to give the asphalt patches a real road shader but failed badly. . ...and the finish line is still far far away :(

making this part of the track darker is no problem

Actually the issue for me is that it's darker than all the rest of the track. ie. it does not have that light tarmac/concrete texture present everywhere else.

as written i am old but i saw now that i saved a material for this part of the track. Next version will come with old material

New great looking pbr textures for the road, made by the famous @Corti (thank you again mate), will come to the Isle

The flags at the right probably need some work, or at least they have some weird shadows at the moment, but oh my, that's an amazing improvement overall! Keep it up guys! :D

You mean the hump that caused Mark Reuss from GM to crash the Corvette pace car while leading the pack around on the pace laps?
Yep, it's an essential feature of the track...

And I would add as suggested tweaks:
- the colours on the grandstands' cover are too bright in my opinion, the white should be more mate/greyish and the green darker and less vibrant.
