Slow Motion, do you know how was this solved (Tyres) with the Palatov Version of Simraceway? Afaik SR is using the same Engine as rF2...
Again, It is ridiculous that this mod where there is a big collaboration with the car's manufactory isn't yet be mentioned in VirtualR while a small screenshot of AC or Pcars becomes a news!
Does it really matter? I used to care about that, I know, but it really is just petty. We get good info here for us, and there are a bunch of other sites to use for proper news. When it's out, I'm sure it will be featured. Hang tight, ignore it, and keep driving what you enjoy man Very impressed with the work so far, and it's amazing to see the manufacturer involved, truly. I hope it progresses well for you guys
I can be patient Quality is worth waiting for. However, I will vote strongly for the rF2 auto-change of steering rotation range. I thank the stars every time I run rF2 that I don't have to fiddle with that stupid setting from rF1. Each car has a fixed and proper steering range--I want the sim to adjust my controller without me having to think about it. If the race car itself has adjustable gearing for the steering, then, sorry to be blunt, it is up to ISI and the mod maker to ensure that it doesn't muck-up FFB or steering feel by selecting the various optional gear sets. There is no need to ever touch the old steering ratio setting needed to trick your wheel because the mod should be set to the correct range in the first place.
It was only a comparative test that Mr. Palatov asked for... and I think to change activity, LOL... no longer sim driver but only spectator! To drive a car powered by Hayabusa Turbo II 2015 = 351.6 hp, also if with the AWD on a road like that, means to die at least 30 times per hour. Or you have to think to drive a toy car with pedals, uphill, and looking at flowers and cows avoiding excessive speed... no more than 10 km/h, LOL
Why don't you just have the steering ratio RF2 style only and preset to only real-life values, and that's it?
The "real-life" value is always available when you activate the "Vehicle Set" Option. And the Upgrade-options with rF2 and rF1 Methods are for those people who prefer another Steering wheel Range as the "Vehicle Set" but want to change the Steering Lock though.
Juergen, those look good! and yes the QR code does work if it's OK i'd like to post a couple of the pictures on our blog www.dpcars.net - with a link to this thread.
Here the new dashboard that will equip the Palatov D4 View attachment 15665 It is fully working and it is the replica of the main page of the real one.
That will be tricky to get the reflections and brightness/fading level right for rF2's variable lighting!
