Dear Gimp, What flattery........ ......dont need to call me God - Aly is ok!! Its not difficult really. Its all just bits of wood and fibreglass
No sorry we are going to call you god from now on. After looking at gods creation, i have to step it up as many notches as I can... Here is what I did today. I mounted my 8 plug powerboard in to my ally distribution box and fed all the wires and cables to the right place. I am planning on pulling it all apart again to anodise all to ally bits. here are the pics.
Hahaha. Believe me, its not the materials i'm impressed with, much of my artwork is only graphite and paper... Do you have any start-finish photos? Would love to see the transition. Man, I would like to sit that in front of my projector screen!
It sure is coops. No where near as important as FF to the wheel, but it does let you know when your on a ripple strip as well as lots of other situations.. Awesome with FPS games too. I love the feeling of getting shot in a game. Brilliant when watching movies too. My missus hops on it and puts the doof doof music on when she has a sore back. We love it.
Hey, Some nice sims here, dunno if i can compare mine but anyway here is a shot of my WIP sim: Fullsize: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/3481/pict0134yk.jpg I use a Thrustmaster T500 RS + the Ferrari Addon Wheel and the th8rs shifter. Both wheels are modded to fit my likings. Also added a Sli-board and a SimDisplay made by my mate Nace , you find him in the Linksection. The Sim is build out of 13 and 19mm MDF wood. Covered with carbon foil ( NOT finished). The seat is out of a Mazda MX-5. The cockpit is made out of mdf and metal with a diy Button panel on the right. There is still much todo in the inside like covering the shakers and wood. I will add some more Pics soon after finishing my Sim. Greets Modmate
@ GTClub_wajdi Thanks mate, after ive seen yours i wasnt sure if i should post mine here. I got tons of ideas but sadly a budget wich is restricted by my wife thats why i went for mdf instead of metal. Since it was all made from scatch without any plans i was surprised about what came out at the end. @ ZeosPantera Hey mate, youve seen correct, thats why i build my own sim . Im 1.94m and no commercial affordable sim out there fits. But its fully adjustable to let my friends have a ride also. Greets
Start to Finish thread Lotus 49 Body Yep - you can find it here matey.... http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/3762-Simkits-Instruments
I like it modmate. Is that real carbon fibre I can see? Nice mate, very nice. What elso do you have planned for your beast?
Hey, Thanks for your comment mate. Its actually 3M-Dinoc Carbon foil added on 19mm MDF wood panels. I also planned to cover the inside panels and the shifter stand i build. I do also got some nice wiper motors and electronics here to add make a motion sim out of it. Its now just a matter of time to finish it. I hope its totally finished in some month. I will post some more pics soon if i get the leather and stuff to finish the inside looks. Greets Modmate
