I have a big fan in my racing room, too. The room is only about 8' x 10', and with the computer, three monitors, sub amp for the sound system, and two 120-watt subs for the six bass shakers, it gets hot!

    Same here

I now have a very big floor standing fan,

I might get another as its summer time and it only takes about 15mins for the room to get very hot

Might look into a small air con unit for the summers, amazing how much a pc sim room heat produces lol

Not a bad idea on the A/C unit there. Not sure about England, but here in the US you can get A/C units that can be rolled around a bit with an exhaust hose that gets put into the window of the room. Very handy if you have to move things around a bit to get setup, and you can direct the air flow onto your PC to help it run cooler. :)

I'm interested in this. Is it made of that plastic PVC piping stuff?

    MANCAVE!

My son and I used to have our rigs upstairs in the loft, but we had to use headphones. Moved downstairs into the spare room where its cooler in the summer and CRANK IT UP, no more headphones! Simple ABS plastic pipe cheap to build your choice of seat. I went with a race seat for mine, my son grabbed one from the wrecker and painted his chassis silver. I'll enclose a pdf with instructions.
Going triple 40" LCD 1080P next...
