Sim Cockpits

El Reprobatar, In your case I would change the fov and move side monitors

I've change my fov after reading topics about it, lesser fov value and a closer camera to cockpit.
It feel better that's true, i can't move for now my screen on the side cause i play with il2 1946 and other flight sim who does'nt have the "multiview" style of rendering as we have in rfactor.

I fitted a Frex Shift+ to the Sim I am building. Looks sweet and works even sweeeeter.
The 2012 frex Shift+ is 8 gears and has 4 buttons and is USB Plug & Play. No driver. Works perfect with RF2.
I had a little look see inside it today (to give it some more lub and because I was curious) and I must say its built well.
The only bad thing I coud say is the gap between 3rd and 5th seems like a bigger gap that the others. First gears gate felt dry but after some lub its perfect now. Here are some pix...

Mines in progress, 4dof motion rig with tripple screen 3d, taking a while but hope it'll be up & running by september !

Will post pics when done

Wow, these are some incredible setups. I really need to get to the junkyard looking for a good seat and build myself a good cockpit. Here is my redneck-cheap setup right now. I don't feel to bad about how cheesy it is considering I only have about $1,000 in the entire setup including the PC, 3D HD Projector, and g27. View attachment 3339
Probably helps that I'm a PC tech as far as my setup cost is concerned ;) .

*edit* sorry about the image source, I have both RF2 and PCARS betas, and just happen to have the other running at that time... but maybe will be forgiven for saying that RF2b is LOTS more fun to drive right now. That FFB is amazing so far. Still, I will change the pic tomorrow.
