This thread should be renamed to "Custom build rigs at home!" : )_

Very nice sim rigs, well done guys!!! I wish I had the tools and place to do one, but I don't....so I have no choice but buy one.

So, I was thinking about the Obutto r3volution and 3 of these YAMAKASI-CATLEAP-Q270-SE-27-LED-2560X1440-WQHD-DVI-D-Monitor-Perfect-Pixel

Apparently, they got very good reviews. But, this will cost around 1500 euro which is quite a high cost!

If you guys know of similar or better products and cheaper, please let me know!

    Cheers

Thanks! The Pre-Order: GT Omega Racing Simulator Supreme comes to 472.349 Euro with shipping, not bad at all.

I'm trying to see what the difference between the following is.

    - NEW! GT Omega EVO Racing Cockpit
    - GT Omega Racing Simulator Pro
    - Pre-Order: GT Omega Racing Simulator Supreme

I have also noticed that they only support up to 24" monitor :( I was planning on the 27"

    Cheers

    Hey ,

Got some fresh pics . First is the ferrari addon wheel for the t500rs. Done several "mods" to it like you may see.
I do also try to apply lether to the wheel, never done before but it feels quite well now. Need some little cuts here and there.

And here is the front of my sim where you can see the modded GT rim and also the diy button panel on the right.

still some todo on the inside. I will cover all wood panels and add some more panels to make it more cockpit like. That will be done after the Motion control and stuff is added. Hope you like it.

I would love todo that and also "prepared" it for 3 screens already. I got a 50 plasma for the front already, the other 2 needs some time now otherwise my wife will kill me.:D

DashMeterPro (for mobile devices) on my phone now attached to my wheel, you can also see my replacement gear knob....its a fishing rod handle! Makes it "feel" more like a V8Supercar Sequential Shifter :)

How did you modify the T500rs buttons to get rid of the god awful PS3 style buttlons?

    I do paint em ;)
First off all dissamble the wheel then..
Just sand it down a bit and add 2 layers of acrylic paint on em.Paint for scale modells is fine. Also i got sort of printmachine to get these letter stickers.

Shame you can't get a little production going... I haven't got my T500 yet but I would defo buy if a set of buttons like that were on ebay. To be honest, I hate the PS3 style buttons, Its the only cosmetic thing that lets down the T500

    Hey,

since there are some others asking me about modding their wheel with the Simdisplay i think about offering it through my website.
If i can get my hands on spare buttons ( verry hard!) then i go that way.
