Thanks guys but still it was a little bit too much.
I already discovered a bunch of bugs/problems/deficiencies on the track not to mention the AI path. I just can't understand the rF2 AIW editor, the rF1 was easy to use but this... also the Skip, worst car to make a smooth fastpath... :D

Also in the end I might be able to make a "double-track" package, I'm gonna try it in the next few days.

Shiet - be proud of your work! Rapid production like you've been doing usually has problems and you've done well to get this released. Not only have you released it, but it looks great!

The track is awesome! Very good job!

Just have an issue with the mirrors not working on the EGT cars (not sure if it was mentioned or is something else being worked on.)

    But again great job!!

It looks like the mirrors don't work on any of the cars but I don't know why, if somebody could tell me why I would try to fix it.

Have you setup rear view port in track's scn?

    Thanks!

I'm done with the "fusioned" version of the track, one package, two layouts. It was a bit messy, I didn't have the patience to do this yesterday.
I also made some BIAS changes so the moire pattern should go away on the wall on the long straight and the home-stretch.

Now I would need someone who can make an acceptable AIW. My main concern is the pit entry and pit exit line. Also if you are faster than 1:40 with the Skippy... :)

You can put most cars into devmode and "race the AIW line" with those - used the great tool by Noel for that: ...1.0.1.0: Now adds another context menu called "Install To DevMode...". This will prompt you for the path to your ModDev folder and then extract the rfcmp into your DevMode environment automatically.http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/18947-MAS-file-extractor-rfcmp-Installer-URL-handler

Somwhere here in forum there was a post going on about using a replay file for AIW - think the guys tried and itr worked (somehow).

It was in the thread of Gotham Hills where this feature was commented.

I did some trials the other day trying to use a replay file to generate a better AI path. I got it working, but unfortunately the results were bad:

I used a 1.41 laptime user replay file to generate the new AI path.
However, the resulting time for AI with the same car went down by almost 3 seconds. From 1.50 to 1.53. I will keep on trying.

Looks like an update is coming in the next couple of days with few fixes and new AI and new package (2 layouts in 1).

On a more serious note... ;)
Does anybody know what causes this particular issue:

10 lap race w. default start (rolling w. pace car formation lap).

The pace car pulls into the pit lane at the end of the formation lap, but the field acts as if its still on a formation lap.
The cars stay in two rows (left and right) and no "green flag" message is displayed.
This just keeps going forever, and these laps doesn't seem to count either, the lap counter just keeps displaying 0/10.

Skipping the formation lap (press SPACE) causes the same issue btw.

Doing a standing start causes no issues whatsoever.

    Any ideas?
The teleport spot - to me at least - seems to be very close to the start/finish line.
    Could this be a problem?

    EDIT:
Nevermind, I fixed the issue using my own idea about moving the teleport waypoint.
    All's good. :)

Hey hex, here is a new scn and cam file for pre 2013. You can test it while messing with the AIW. :D

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/3bhemen6ix379ha/Mosport_CAMandSCN.zip

    Changes
    - added reflection mappers at the end of the file (REFLECTEDENV and REFMAP0)
    - added reflection planes for the bridges
    - working mirrors (the complete first part of the scn was missing, bold text)
    - added a set of zoom cams (Group 2)

Hey Tosch, awesome stuff, thanks, I'll check that out.
Cool that you're doing cams too, I was thinking about having a go at that myself, but you seem to have it covered. :)

I think the pre 2013 AIW is more or less done now - as "done" as it's gonna be with me at the helm anyway. ;)
I've just sent it to shiet.. I'll let him be the judge.

Hey Tosch: you didn't say anything at all until now about taking over the track so as far as I know I'm still the developer so I don't know why do you address hexagramme while he only does the AIW.
I made some changes on the track since the last release so I'm gonna look into your .cam/.scn but sure thank you for the help. :)

Btw I intentionally left out that fog part of the .scn you added earlier because I don't like that foggy-atmosphere. This is Canada and not Beijing. :D
