Exactly! It's the best one we have. It's being updated. It will hopefully be updated again after that. It's not the latest, greatest graphics, but with a few more tweaks, it's 100% adequate for racing. And it's a great track. I would rather have a 95% perfect Oulton Park than a 100% perfect [insert random fantasy console track with no basic flow or heritage].
Because as far as I know modifying the terrain polys would be a bitch as you can't just modify one little area.
I've offered my feedback and help on Facebook and got nothing. Would love to help update the track if needed.
I'll check the page, thanks for your feedback, the modders do read the comments and already stated they have fixed some flickering textures in the next version.
Can't wait. This track is a blast. Perfect for the clios, civics and e90s. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
FYI, I don't believe this track follows correct naming conventions where layout should be TrackCourse so, for example, Log Analyzer will not be able to tell the difference between layouts as they are all identified as Oulton Park Circuit. Code: <TrackVenue>Oultonpark</TrackVenue> <TrackCourse>Oulton Park Circuit</TrackCourse> <TrackEvent>Oultonpark Fosters</TrackEvent>
FYI - AI are horrendously slow through the Cascades. I can easily gain nearly a second here against otherwise faster AI
this is gorgeous, great fun in the panoz, but i hope the curbing is made a lot more generous, assuming the pCARS version is correct. its really easy to bite the dirt w/ this version.
Remember guys, Steve runs the Sim Racing for Life FaceBook page. He's not the modder or a developer so take it easy, he's the messenger going back and forth across the battlefield .
This time last year, never thought I would be driving Oulton and Goldenport in rF2, oh plumb forgot about the other 40 or so tracks (but some not so good)
