Well, I can't use the getmod either. And there is no link on sr4l.com.

    Well, we're not far apart.
Sorry it lasted that short; wheel broke down again. Or not the wheel; the pedals!

I spend my day working on the pedals. As you maybe have read in the sr4l forum; I was working the problem out even before I posted here.
I opened up the pedals to mess around and give it a progressive feel.
    That didn't work out......
But now, last few laps, something went wrong; I could brake 100% or not at all :)

    Opening things up right now......

Nice racing with you though; we certainly kicked some Brabhams ass with the F2's :)

So what's the final verdict? Do all tires in rF2 flatspot? I can lock up the tires in the Corvettes and not feel a vibration after, but the same lock up in the F2 makes the car undriveable. But I did notice in a recent race that one guy locked up his tires badly and kept doing it- almost as though he had developed a flat spot and it kept getting worse.

Is it only certain cars that have tires that develop flat spots or is it a standard rFactor 2 thing?

Softer tyres and greater downforce will make flatspots worse. I have certainly noticed flatspots on the Corvette. Too much wheel smoothing/filtering will stop you feeling it though.

Even though I am not happy about how slow rF 2 developement is, it's still moving forward all the time.
Flatspots seem to be already implemented there, in the physics engine. What we need, is an update for all the "older" ISI cars, which doesn't use all the current physics engine features.
