Yep, in refined physics conditions. However you can now use locking up for turning, it's a bit tricky and not always usefull but it pays off sometimes. Although you are right that locking up isn't the fastest way around. What I meant is that RIGHT NOW it is almost impossible to go as fast as possible without locking up (we can do it because of lack of punishment for doing it). It's just the way it is with this build and state of the tyre model right now.

    :)

Would it help you if I don't compete in the Lola?
I'm having the sound now (were under "ambient" and not under "tyre sounds") but it's still not perfect.
Don't want to piss you off. Knowing that other people (might) think the same way; it's probably best if I let this one go, so rest asure ;)

So....you didn't type things as "cheating" "pisses me off" and "not taking it back" but your cellphone did that? ;)

The problem lies in the fact that you see locking up as an advantage while in fact; it's just a longer brake distance.......unstable car, understeer and so on.
I would love to get rid of it; I'll be faster than!

Tell your phone to be happy; I'm not in the race tonight.
Don't want to compete if people think I'm cheating.

In situation like this I use phrase; "my opinions may change over time but not the fact that I'm right!" ;)

Come on now! That goes too far. Don't make me feel bad about it now. I'm very likely to not even cross the finish line tonight, so it doesn't bother me very much wether you're cheating or not. ;)

This is truly sad....maybe you're taking things too serious?

I have a tendency to do that, I admit.
But the word "cheating" can't be taken lightly.
    And you stood by it.

You can now delete all your racing sims because I think you are cheating whenever you race :p

Joking aside, you are taking things way too seriously.

It's a scene from very old polish movie. The grandma says (as they are about to leave to the court to argue about sth with their neighbors): (giving him granade) Here, take it.
    Her son: Oh, mooom.
Grandma: Law is the law, but the justice must be on our side! (paraphasing), here, take more!

Always fight for your "rights and justice" xD. Even when you know you are wrong and gonna lose :D

    Thanks for the advise.
Do you think that even knowing the fact we're in a league together and have a race scheduled for tonight?

There is no rule that says you must drive so that you do not lockup your tires, meaning it is not against the rules. So, yes I think you should not care what other people think (in this case).
If you still want to know what other people think just ask all the racers that you race with in your league, don't base your decision on one persons opinion.

    Thanks Abriel.

I don't want to "bother" people in the league with this; I'm having an "issue" and don't want to involve others. It's only for one race; after that we do the F2 60's and in that one, I do it a lot less.
And as I said; even if only one person thinks I'm cheating......the fun is off and I don't want that word in combination with my name for sure.

But thanks for the insight, nice.

Oh come on. It not like you want to inform them that you have v.d. and wanna know if others are ok with that and want to know if they have it too! xD LOL

The tires lock up waaaaaay too easily right now as it is. Not sure that will ever be fixed and it probably has nothing to do with this conversation - - but there ya have it. ;-)
