Hi Gerald,
I have set the address (of the remote PC running the console) under [RemoteConsole] in GRTvPlugin.ini file (on PC running the rF2).
Is that correct? Because I still unable to get any data in remote console on the remote PC. Firewall is disabled on both of the PCs.
Should I check something else?

Seems correct to me (have you check that the console on localhost of rF2 does not received either, to be sure you have updated the correct file)
 
Remote console works on the PC with rF2 running...

Going to double check everything again now :confused:

EDIT:
found the problem... the file I edited was the original GRTvPlugin.ini.
Later I renamed the GRTvPlugin.ini, and switched it with GRTvPlugin (for gt-series).ini file, which is missing the [Main], [RemoteConsole] and [Plugin.ConsoleListener] sections...
Adding the missing sections from the original file solved the issue.

Hi Gerald,
I think I found a small bug regarding the driver timing widget: If a driver sets a new fastest personal 1st sector, the gap is coloured green after the 2nd sector even if the driver is slower in the 2nd sector and now has a +X seconds gap. Examples can be found here and here. If you follow the qualifying sessions in either of the examples, you'll see it's not a general colouring error in the WidgetDriverTiming.ini.
I'll also attach our WidgetDriverTiming.ini (from the 2nd example) if you want to have a look. (I had to add the .txt to the end to be able to upload it as an attchment.) View attachment 17934

Edit: here's probably the best example that shows the bug is only present after the 2nd sector timing. Once the car crosses the finishing line the colour coding for the gap is correct: https://youtu.be/iS2RGibu7k8?t=1222

I'm sorry if someone already asked it, I didn't read the whole topic, but I'm using GRTV Plugin since 1 year. Great job!

It is not possible to have this info. It is a telemetry data and those info are only available for yoyur own car.
 
Just one more question.

To chaange from Profile.1 to Profile.2, which I set in the .ini files, what should I do into the game? I'm thinking about using two different layouts during the broadcasting...

You can define a shortcut to switch between profiles.

In the provided example it is : Left_CTRL + D
 
I can't make the Replay widget work. It is available and listed in the UI widgets, but when pushing R and loading the istant replay, no images appear.
Any suggestion?

i tried to customize our overlay a bit and found one problem.

category.text.color.id=2
category.image.color.id=1

If i set the values above in the vehilceClass.ini its shown everywhere correct with a white background and black text. Only in the tower it is showing a white text on white background.
Am i doing something wrong?
 
Hi,

Been using this great plug-in for some weeks with no problems but for some reason it has now started to flash (literally each of the widgets will flash off and on at about .5 second intervals). I remember that (years ago) a similar thing happened with a plug-in for R Factor 1 and, just as then, I can stop the flashing by running the frame rate counter....but.....any idea why this is happening and can it be cured without having to have the frame rate counter on?

Did you put "use.category.font.color.for.car.number.field=1" in the tower widget ini file

Tried now use.category.font.color.for.car.number.field=1 and use.category.font.color.for.car.number.field=0

No change in the display. The strange thing is that in the banner and the driver info is use.category.font.color.for.car.number.field=0 on 0 and its shown as i want it.
 
Strange I made the test and it worked.

Please put me the tower in I section where you put this.

Hi Gerald, seeing you are active on this thread again, could you comment on my post here? Do I have an error in my WidgetDriverTiming.ini that I don't notice or is there possibly a little bug in the code?

I'm on it but for now i did not find the issues. (did not have many free times yet to reproduce the issue )
