Great news, even if it will take a long time before we will see it in game, if we ever do :) I guess they'll not build all cars they've licensed.

It's more likely they'll be built, than not. Though there are some lower priority ones, and they'll constantly stay at the bottom if something more interesting comes in later. rF2 isn't a short term project though.

Personally i think it is more important to get more tyre samples from different eras and different car classes, so the mod makers have something to build on. The tyre model seems to be the hardest thing to do when building a proper rF2 car...

Gosh hope this gets made swiftly, I'm really starting to realise how important these classic f1's will be to rfactor 2

The 70's I'm sure will be totally super !

Going back a bit im Really enjoying the bt20's on Belgium now it seems to run better (fps etc) a top mod & combo the track surface on spa is totally top notch, much better than any scanned track I've used

I'm not sure about this, but because Tim wrote 1970 he makes me think of that specific year, not the 70s decade. If that is correct, then we talk cars that was still similar to the 60's car, but with bigger wings.

You could be right, I'm sure a 1970 f1 will be just as much of a blast !

1970...what could it be? Brabham (again)? March? BRM? Mclaren? Matra?

I don't expect Ferrari or Lotus hehe...

Well, I don't know... But I hope so. A early 70's or a late 70's car doesn't matter to me, but it makes the guessing much harder if it's not 1970 ;)

Yup. The use of the "s" after the year it means the decade and it's a synonym of seventies...:)
