did the Steam thing yesterday and the server was there - as hmatty says it is down now...if B.B. did the Steam migration he will have to reconfigure, so hopefully will be back up for Saturday night

Howdy F3 Fanatics,

I'm letting the server die. I have only gotten donations from two of the people that race on the server. Thanks Tim and Tucker!

The money is gone. I only get the chance to race on my server on Saturdays... So my server is going down.

Hopefully, Paul Swire and Bryan Furgason will allow me to use a SR4L server to keep this tradition going.

It's been 4 years and I hate to let the server die, but it seems like the smart thing for me to do.

I will post this on the other F3 Fanactics thread in ISI land as well as on the SR4L site.

Okay.... I couldn't pull the plug on the server. I paid May's rent. I don't really need to eat three times a day... After this, Paul Swire of SR4L, is going to allow me to use one of their servers to keep this 10 week, now a year old series running strong! Thank you Paul, Bryan F., and Nikos for making this all come together.

I will be sending any and all donations to SR4L and the 'Welcome Message' on the server will ask you to donate directly to SR4L's coffer.

I hope to see you all at this weekend's event at Toban!

Paul Swire from SR4L has handed me the keys to a server they were not using. Thanks!

Although I paid May's rent, I won't be using the NRT server any more.

I'm almost done moving into 'my' new server.

Please let me know if I've missed anything... Like I noticed I don't have my welcome message... : (

How does it take ages to download? Getmod or the workshop items?

 

The whole proccess is too much, it took hours to download everything, it stopped twice while I was out.
My connection is good and at the end it all worked out, I hope it stays that way.

Oh, great bonus is I tried BT44, wow what a classic

 

I found out its muuuch better to find things and install them urself than waiting for Getmod to wake up to work.

 

Use the Steam game browser rather than the rF2 game browser to have good GetMod speed.
