Weather Server 1.1.2.0 available Fix bug with some GDB (like Sebring_12H) INFO: Sebring does not have the longitude in the GDB (so you must override it manually or edit the extracted GDB and add the "Longitude=xxxx" line)
Seems to work now however it says "stopped" (now running when i joined) View attachment 12520 Just to be clear, running this will then disable to changes i made in the world weather exe? Even though it says 9am on the server, it does collect live weather even if its 3pm?
- A friend have the same STOPPED bug on its dedicated server. (I try too understand why the plugin stop to send the UDP trame - may be it is crashed) For the Weather Timestamp: - Server Called : it is in your own timezone (your real time) - Weather Date : it is the time at the track localtion (and just after the time you see the time offset compare to GMT)
On our server we have AI sitting there, and the session won't started unless a human player joins (ini file tweak to have it continue no matter who is joined). Our server said stopped until a human player joined. Will know on Monday with our club race if it all works
My server is located in Denmark, so will it then use the server timezone - or will it actually take the "live weather" at Sebring. timedifference is obviously 6 hours.
Weather Server 1.1.3.0 - The console is displayed at startup - The Last Collected Weather panel, display the location used to collected those data - Allows "," and "." in the "lat" and "lon" text field.
latest version seems to work very well. I have a server (Megane) that is running on the real time The temperature and weather conditions coincide perfectly. Consumption CPU and RAM are ok. I'll keep you updated if you find any problems. you are a genius Gerald. Babs
Agreed. Cpu on last version was a bit high though. Let me install this and check. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Would be great that you on future releases would post what we needed to change - if we needed to remove ALL the files or just some of them
after a bit of use, the problem of excessive consumption of CPU is returned unfortunately. Then I have a problem with the track of Essington, I attach a screenshot. With all the other tracks I have no problem, only with this. Babs
I think the path to your Core is not right, try : "C:\Program Files (x86)\rFator2 build 660 server 2"
RF2 divide the track in 9 square, with the (0,0) coordinate at center, and so allows use to specify 9 zone of rain. Actually, only the center value is taken into account by rF2. In an unknown future build, it will take into account all 9 values;
I did not see it on my local PC, i will try to find an explanation and fix it. (the CPU reach 100% near immediatly or after a given number of time) ?
Thanks. What a nice feature. By the way. Is it possible to add a feature that let you choose the date/time of the race you are planing and then scan the realtime weather of that day? It would be important for practice servers where you maybe want to practice under real conditions, as they are in the race.
For now you have 2 type of tool: - The original Rfactor2WeatherTool, that allow you to collect weather (in past, or future -> Historical or Forcast) -> and then save it into rF2 WET file. - The realtime, that for now only collect "realtime" weather. (later, i will allows to record "realtime" (means "Now") data in a file and replay it later)
