Weather Server 1.1.4.2 available (just replace your exe)
    - Fix bug when an update of the "ask server every" was only taken into account after a restart of the server or the plugin (Thanks LesiU for the feedback)

    Hello,
Yes, it seems that there is no weather station need the coordinate, or the coordinate in the GDB are not correct.

I have the same conf (Client and server on the same PC, but off course two different install path), so it is not the reason of the problem.

Actually RF2 does not update the cloud coverage, if there is no rain, so may be if there is no rain at each weather update, you wont see any change in rF2 (hope weather plugin capability will be enhanced in the next build)

    Fixed in 1.1.4.2

    That's quick :)

Yes, "Projected Weather" and "Current Weather" status is not updated... but also temperatures are not updated when a session already goes on. In other words - weather is not updated at all in realtime. It's only updated on session change. Are there any logs which could help figure out, what's the problem?

Or maybe it's about setting up rF 2 weather profile in a specific way? I tried "default" and "scripted" and in both realtime updates doesn't work.

    EDIT:
"ask every" now works as expected and "Last call" verifies that nicely :) Thanks!

    EDIT2:
I think, having a button "collect weather data now" can be useful, during initial setup (to check, if valid coordinates are provided and if conditions are as expected) so we don't have to wait until next auto update.

    EDIT3:
My test server is set to automatically pause when no drivers are on it. So, only me rejoining was enough to refresh the weather data your plugin sends.

WeatherControlPlugin 1.4 and Weather Server 1.1.5.0 available (just replace your DLL and the exe)
    - Add two columns in the table (the data are sent by the plugin in v1.4)
.....Session Type : like "Practice 1"
    .....Elapsed : like "00:02:25"

Don't know, it seems that you are the only one to have this bug (i will try to find a reason, but for now, i have no clue)

Until i add this, you can switch from "RealTime" to "None" (click Apply) and go back to "Realtime" (click Apply)

Gerald great job, I'm testing on my server and everything works fine, but I would like to ask a question, it is possible to change the track temp based on the ambient temp?

Actually the track temp is not updatable. I think rF2 will (already?) compute the track temp, using the air temp, cloud coverage, etc...

Yes, rF 2 computes track temp automatically but the effect is not fully implemented yet. That means, track temp. is lower in sunny weather than should be.

Weather Server 1.1.6.1 available (just replace your exe)
    - Add a more accurate error message when there is no weather station near the coordinates.

PS: After the feedback of LesiU, i recommand to do not let "smoothiong" to 0 (rF2 sometimes does not take into account the weather change, at lest visuallly, with a smooting=0)

Yes, in my case, with smoothing set to 0, "realtime" mode didn't work at all. I had to restart session (or change to another) to update weather on my server.
In "user" mode, one attempt out of several applied weather changes but then rFactor brought them back to what was before instantly. I had to set smoothing to at least 1s to get it working as it should be.

    Hi gerald,

I am going to setup our server with your utility following instructions.
If I have any trouble understanding something I'll let you know in case you want to rewrite it!

    A couple of recommendations:

    1) Highlight download links in the first file in bold letters.
I think that there are only two but since you say that now there are three programs, it can be confusing

    2) Change the name of the one of the zip folders. Right now both links provide different .zip files with the same name.

Edit: Forget last reccomendation. I had an old zip file. I see both links provide the same download. I would leave just one.

    OK I think I know what's happening.

Everytime, I close the program it will not start again until I change the port. After changing it will work again until I close it again.

I have made the program find the server running with the plugin but it does not look right. I will paste a picture later

Of course, you close it from sys tray (sorry for asking about that... better be sure :) ).
If you close it properly, check if it's not running (Task Manager -> Proceses tab)

Closing the UI panel does not close the server. Look your system tray and right click if you want to really stop the server.

Is there a way to put a picture with realtime weather in the locations I am using for realtime weather. I would also be interested in an equivalent with the prediction for a certain date. I don't know if it has been requested or commented in th thread sorry about that
