You will be "stuck" on the latest build. If you usually simply update - then theres nothing to worry about, however several leagues are using older builds, so check with your league before doing anything.
I have non-steam version with online subscription around 250 days left, if I move to Steam I will lose my online subscrition? Doesn't make much sense to me, I wish I could move to steam. I read this and I would like to know if you have plans to support this kind of migration in the future?
I have the exact same problem. Successfully filled out the transfer license form and it confirmed sending me the Steam Key but I haven´t received anything on my Google Mail yet nor in SPAM folder. Now I cannot fill out the form anymore.
probably some server overload, too much people asking for things at the same time, i asked for a password reset and also haven´t recived the mail Do i have to uninstall my non steam rfactor2 before moving to steam? (lifetime account)
Nice timing! I have a day off tomorrow. Testing rFactor instead of working will be a nice change edit: For those impatient about the mail with the steam key, I got mine 10 minutes after filling the form.
Congrats ISI!!! Big step! Now let's prepare for the new Steam-user flood. - Remember to be always nice and handy guys! :-D
I initially had that concern too. It took about ten minutes to get the key - longer than to register here LOL. All good now.
Okay. I got my Steam Key after about 40 minutes. So I suggest to those who haven´t received any key yet should stay calm and wait patiently
You need to subscribe to ISI contents and done. (oh well, the subscription is automatic so you don't have to do nothing) As for third party mods you can go as before, drop in packages and install.
"We have hit our steam transfer key limit for today. Please try again tomorrow." Really? After 1 hour?! Maybe that should be raised a bit... Or the next few days will be... hit and run if it's choking after 1 hour.
Bought Lifetime a couple of weeks ago. Just tried to get a Steam Key and got this message: View attachment 18542 Hello ! It's 2015 ! Not 1995 ! What a Joke !
I would like to know this also! Have some more questions i couldn't find anywhere: - Can i keep my installation "as it is"? Or i have to install rF2 again? - Where do we insert the activation code on steam after we receive it? Thank you!
Will all the multiplayer servers still show up on this site https://world.rfactor.net/server-list or will the steam servers be seperate?
