    Thanks Lenniepen...

Nothing is disabled in game, everything is maxed out. I guess some liveries are just a bit less reflective than others. :)

Awesome shots tjc, glad you are enjoying the F2 cars :) I also see you are enjoying Sebring as well, great track.

I've noticed that the EVE (haven't checked Spark yet) template has a pretty dark alpha channel, resulting in a dull paint scheme. I'd guess the in-game liveries are the same.

I have a little advantage when it comes to Sebring, I live about an hour and a half from the real track, so it is always nice to see racing there.

I think it's all dependant on the angle you take your screenshots from, and where the sun is hitting the car. The alpha channels on all the cars look the same to me. I edited the EVE F3 and Spark F3 alpha channels to take the number surround off, they all look
"Reflective" to me if you catch them in the correct light. It could just be my eyes though. . . .

    Nice...

It`s an excellent track to drive and VLM have made a fantastic job of it. :)

On the skins I'm working on, I've brightened up the alpha channel a lot and there is a big difference in the glossiness of the textures. :)

Hi Ryno917, I know what you mean as i tried it, but when it's really sunny, i found that the skins look unnaturally shiny, like looking at a mirror. Sometimes they are so shiny, it's actually hard to see the colour of the car even. It's really hard to find a decent balance to be honest, mate.

I was just about to post this when i saw Ryno917's comment.

    I suck at driving open wheels. . . :

Now if you would just do some wide screen panarama's for triple screen users we can talk about desktop backgrounds :)

Thanks tjc, though if you are pulling screens from replays you won't be able to do it without using photoshop or something to work some magic on the images as rF2 does not currently support wider replays. I think the max is HD size, but not sure. I know when I want to watch replays of my racing, I see a tall wide car that could not possibly stay on it's wheels with that high a center of gravity LoL
