very interesting pics. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ifun9zi378ovcd6/lhsUYamCqO#f:IMG_0531.JPG This one somewhat flabbergasted me.. The way the driver has to position his feet there between that rod and the pedals, seems like a very confined area to me.
The 787B is in Japan right now...but Ben has loads of photos on his I-pad, so I'm sure that could be arranged. The owner has a warehouse with everything from earliest MB to current F1 cars. We've got a few engines in my shop ready to go into the dyno...so I should have some audio for you guys as well.
I was mind that, been Petros Mak a serious name in race sim (at least for me), most of people take his advice about the cars that feel like they are on ice wich is not equal to realism.
I'm now working on 2 cars at the same time to join the 787B, textures are still being refined constantly and the physics & sounds are being worked on too.
Really cool. If you can post some of those unfinished works like the body without textures and all so we can see or guess which cars are.
Yeah that's not a bad idea, I think our rule is to only show progress that is "worthy" of showing (which sometimes takes a while to get to that point). The 2 cars I'm working on are in-game but not up to standard as 787B as of yet, both of them are using placeholder .dds files until the proper ones are completed. My personal opinion is that it is not ready to show publicly though it would be cool to show the stages of how a car is made then transferred into rF2, that is not my call though.
I understand, donĀ“t worry. Just keep giving some updates here so the post keeps being visible for all. Thank you.
Some really good texture progress is being made on these two cars, and is being shown on the private section of our forums! I think they might get shown on our FB page pretty soon
Yep I will be showing off some shots soon. Our physics guy's comp had some issues the past week which he has had to fix before he could get to working more on the 787B closed beta physics to make it ready for Open Beta. I'll keep you all posted with the progress.
All I have been hearing is beta coming soon.. that was two months ago.. Biggest cock tease ever! C'mon at least show me a nipple.. Oh i mean a hub cap
Hey guys. Well here is a preview of the current progress of the paint work for the Sauber C11. The model has been made by Dmitriy Barishev and the paint work is being done by Doug Parker who has been working hard to put some immense details to this car. The cars are progressing well and we're working hard to get them all done. Some more progress shots will be posted in the next days of the Porsche 962C so be sure to stay tuned!
