People often have troubles believing something they can't feel directly. Lasers are invisible, so....
Of course he may not even know what a point cloud is, and that there are images of them. He may not find that as a proof, and it does not matter. It is more entertaining if he will find ways to debunk them. Personally I enjoy flatearthers a lot because they only makes people who know get to know things even better, would it be explaining something that normal people never even would suggest being false, or would it be actually great challenging thing to prove. There is no reason to be angry at them, but they are hilarious how they are angry at the thousands of people apparently lying for them. They are kinda discrediting skepticism.
So the conspiracy now is: "There are no lasers, because they are invisible, so they might as well not exist" Prove me wrong
Speaking of Nordschleife it would be more interesting to know at what stage the S397 track is, rather than asking for dirty links which you can find in a minute with a help of google.
My guess would be that S397 are still working on racesurfaces, kerbs, terrain and basic objects while preparing new materials for the track.
At this point I don't even know whats more interesting, how the track model is going to turn out, or how the new materials will be.
