Pretty sure Formula E wouldn't be a good fit for a GT3 bundle.
Sorry, but Formula E isn't a Hybrid system.
With the current rF2 system you can't have different wear, two engines (electrical and gasoline).
The same with the consumption, etc.
The Formula E is much more simple than a Hybrid system.
While I agree hybrid system is probably the most needed missing technology to accurately represent some of the biggest racing categories nowadays: LMP1 and F1, I wish it would have never been introduced to racing cars.
It is clearly damaging the spectacle and rising costs unnecessarily. You only have to see the latest years of each category. Almost an LMP2 won Lemans due to reliability problems. In F1, teams are continuosly replacing units penalizing with grid positions that distort everything. The complexity of such systems makes no sense IMO. Once batteries evolve (like mobiles batteries did) full electrical systems will prevail. Hybrid is just a stupid necessary intermediate step.
Yes, i agree.
Actually, I don't like electric or hybrid cars.
I remember the sound of F1 V8 and V10.
And when i hear the current F1...
But the reality is what it is....sadly
Thanks to hybrid systems systems Porsche and Audi retired from Lemans series.
In 2018 only one hybrid team will take part: Toyota. For that reason there will be a single LMP1 category mixing both hybrid with fuel powered cars.
The BOP will be a disaster probably and Toyota will have no real opponents. Hopefully Alonso will win that way...
Thanks hybrid technology.
Yes Hybrid made racing relevant to manufacturers but then made it too costly.
Guys can we please stay on GT3 topic Or create a new thread, this just confuses people here. Thanks!
ABS and TC in the mod as built with configuratiin in the garage, please, and real gearboxes emulated. Thanks.
thanks for the new v1.17 AMG GT3 update.
You can't be more right... new F1 have bad sounds. Pleasure and sensation are sanitized now...
Did you guys do any physics change with mercedes, or i'm just imagining? I have perception, that front isn't so lively anymore as before latest "livery, steering ratio fix" update. Even at "standard" ratio(assuming this should be the same as before, so unchanged), the car is somehow more dead in front and more towards understeer now. Or maybe is this just because of new Road Atlanta track converted from AMS, where i drive it.
Is it on purpose that the white livery of the Mercedes has a class setting =template ?
the Mercedes template was repaired?
not a template but another skin, go back one page to find mention of it.
How do I get rf2 to update the Mercedes to v1.17? Nothing automatically download to me. Unfortunately, I cant remove item in the steam and re-add it to force a new download and update...
Go to Steam - User Name - Choose Inventory
Choose rFactor 2 from your Inventory tabs & select the Mercedes, then go to View Workshop Item:
From there you can Unsubscribe & then re-subscribe again
Many, many thanks maestro...
One of the big questions I have is: if there are leagues running other 3rd-party mods like Apex GT3, would they look to change their series in future to run the 'base' S397 GT3 Pack? And if not, why not? As far as I can tell, the S397 cars are equal of Apex in terms of physics and graphics quality; some may say better. If it's simply the set of cars on offer, why is that? If so, adding a 2nd GT3 pack with more cars makes sense so long as the licensing cost isn't prohibitive. But if leagues refuse to move, what then? We need more people hosting/leagues of the base pack in my opinion, because I don't see S397 hosting this themselves (lack of tracks as much as anything else).
Or good quality dlc as GT3.... Or mods....i preffers official dlc
Nice trailer. But i wish they had mixed in some engine noise.
