I'm sorry I can't help, I haven't got home yet I couldn't check until next week... I thought you thought the seat was in the center of the vehicle
Wonder if they're trying to simulate the feeling of the pedals being off center? Let's see, as I recall, if the Triumph GT-6 & Spitfire were offset outward due to the transmission tunnel, then the Mini's pedals go the other way and are offset towards the center, having been shoved that way due to the fender intruding into the cabin.
Minis have off center wheels plus a yaw in the axis is pointing more towards the middle of the car...on these race spec cars the seat is furthet back and the column is leaned back towards the driver so it looks even more off...the normal mini steeringwheel is more like a truck wheel. So all is as it should he on an early mini. Sorry for the crude finger drawing on the phone but imagine it like this when viewed from the top.
Yes, Mini's have pedals that are not centred in relation to the seat or the wheel, the same goes for the wheel in relation to the seat., but I am not having any issue with this whether intended or not.
Just tried this car. Very good car, good handling, playful and funny. It's a very great addition, I hope there's more like this in the future.

How did they race together, was if fairly tight or did the Cortina's pull away? I was planning to do this myself, at Brands and Cadwell.
